Las Palmitas Fruit is a restaurant that offers good food in generous portions. The strawberries and cream are satisfying and shareable. The food is very delicious, with everything looking fresh and the portions being reasonable for the price. However, the furniture and cleanliness could use some improvement, and there is limited space to eat inside. The service is attentive and fast, although it can be inconsistent, with some reports of rudeness from the staff. They charge an additional $1 for card payments without prior notice. While the customer service may be lacking, the food, especially the carne asada tacos, fish tacos, tortas, soles, and nachos, is consistently excellent. Parking can be difficult to find, but there are usually a couple of spots available in the nearby laundry parking lot.
