Nita’s is probably my favorite spot for Filipino food in the South Bay. Lots of delicious dishes here - from their sweet ribs to the barbecues, but my favorites have to be the kare kare and daing na bangus paired with their homemade vinegar. Five stars on the food. They never have pinakbet ready until closer to noon, earlier if you're lucky..I like my Filipino vegetables, especially to neutralize the other food high in cholesterol, etc . but that's Filipino food in general.Like most customers, I ordered the combos and due to the lack of prepared dishes ready to purchase and select from, I made the mistake of ordering kare kare. Home cooking to go or eat in. Grab a tray, get in line and pick your dish. BBQ is great here and everything is fresh not sitting under the lights all day. Helps if you speak Tagalog but not necessary.
