Really nice place, waitress was nice. Got the chicken and waffles. Chicken didn't seem like it was fried right then but heated up and not really seasoned. Waffle was just ok. Had some type of potato square not sure what it was. Overall disappointed.
My husband and I spent about two hours deciding on which soul food establishment to visit this past Sunday. There were not too many to choose from, due to the day and time. The food was good but the service wasn't all that great. The workers did not seem attentive, and we had to ask them to clean the tables so we could sit down. All the tables that were available were dirty while they played around behind the counter. I saw a worker also mishandle the to go cornbread muffin by throwing them in a bucket after getting them from the back.
