The frozen burrito is quite good. The Shrimp Taco is seriously mislabeled. The packaging shows a picture of a wonderful Taco with all the fillings. What is in the package is a quesadillo. - tasty but not a Taco by any stretch of the imagination.

I bought three bags of supposedly wild caught salmon. This definitely is not salmon. Probably a large eel or some sort of sea serpent! Grouse and discussing with large lumps and bumps! Took small nibble and it was rubbery and disgusting! I feel like I’m owed a large sum of money from this company! It comes from China. If I had realized this I never would have waisted my money!

I purchased a package of shrimp Kung Pao from my local Smart and Final on 11-17-25. The frozen package had a use by date of 7-28-26. The shrimp was not cleaned very well with lots of legs and other unidentifiable stuff, it stunk and some was discolored. The veggies were soggy and unappealing before cooking. I definitely learned from this experience with Great American Seafood Imports and will not waste my time or money on them.

Their DO is exceptionally rude.

The use of Tripoliphosphate in their foods to make them plumper and weigh more are a total deal-breaker.
I guess they don't realize that people can just Google ingredients. They can piss off in my book until they change their dishonest practices. Tripoliphosphate is definitely not healthy to ingest and contrary to what the FDA terms is "generally safe". As a matter of fact, any ingredients label with "phates" in it are to be strongly avoided. For them to make a few extra pennies by plumping up their foods so they can charge more weight-wise is so short sighted. Guaranteed they're losing more money by people avoiding their products by just looking up on the Internet ingredients. Fricking idiotic.
It's no different than going to the butcher or fish store and the owner putting their finger on the scale! It's actually worse than that because instead of a finger, they're using a very unhealthy chemical! Totally egregious.

Awsome packages red white and blue. In the fine print Products of China. Never again

Great place to pickup. Very nice and professional security guard and shipping office. It is absolutely by appointment only to pickup.

Address is wrong...it's not the first location it is right next door 20704..arrived at 640 waited till 7 next door told me they didn't open till 8 ...and it looks like they are next door so it's was confusing...I decided to check the next entrance after waiting till 730 just to see and it was the right location now I'm late for appt. Guard was nice plenty of room to get to a door...other problem is lady that answers the door is rude...I pushed the button to confirm I'm ready...no one answers I push it again after 5 mins and the lady comes out the door and just stares at you...I was like I have a delivery and she's was like you well fill out the 2 papers and I was like I did. She then said well I need the small one...like if I know what I'm doing first time here and they expect you to know ...

So I see there’s not a lot of comments from a Truck driver’s perspective. Let me offer my experience here.1) if you arrive around 23:00ish to 04:00 you can find parking on the street on Fordyce Ave. If you get here after everyone has started going to work , there will be cars parked along the street and you won’t be able to park.2) The procedure for check in ;a) walk in the gate and go to the guard shack on your left at the gate entrance.b) listen closely and follow instructions and you won’t have any problems.c) Have your License Plates (truck & trailer) and I.D. with you.I had an 08:00 appointment. Was checked in and in a door @ 07:30.The time is currently 08:40 and they have been unloading me for about 15-20 minutes.The only real downfall I’ve found is if you have to go to dock doors 13 or 14 because you have to back through the employee parking lot to get to those doors.Fortunately for me , I got assigned to Door 12.Overall not a bad experience at all.

So I decided to include fish on Thanksgiving and to my surprise, I see one of the packs of tilapia fillets that looks as if a parasite is living inside underneath the frozen fish. they say one bad apple spoils the bunch. I don't want to cook the others because of this one fillet. ? ????
