“That Saugus Steak is an amazing dinner! Salad, then the bacon wrapped steak. Veggies, potato, rice, fries are some of the options for the 2 sides. And yummy garlic toast. The steak was delicious, the veggies cooked nicely. And afters? A cup of ice cream. With sodas, we totalled out under $70. Same as Sizzler nowadays, and far more delicious. Plus eating in a cool historic site. Waitress was super friendly, other patrons also happy to be there. Great oldies playing, we all sang along to some primo hits! We return for a pleasant dinner often, even though it's a half hour drive from home.“

The waitress told me the building it is in used to be an ice cream parlor and there is a section of the original bar counter top and stools still in use! Highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.“
