Was craving a cream puff for a virtual galentine's date and picked up their limited raspberry cream puff. Took it home and at it a couple hours later. The shell was a little disappointing as it was pretty stale (I came at end of day) so it's probably been sitting out. The cream however was light and delicious with some fresh raspberry flavor. Paired really well with the chocolate dipped shell for an indulgent treat. They also filled the puff with a ton of cream so I got some in every single bite. Would love to try when it's not stale but overall still satisfied my craving.

I am glad I don't have to go all the way to Japan for this delicious custard pan. I was sad when SF location closed after covid, but so glad one has opened closer to Dublin.

Just left and had such a a great experience that I had to leave a review right away. The folks that I spoke with were so kind and friendly (I didn't catch their names). I had been to another location in SoCal and loved the snacks so I was happy they were coming to CV. This location here really made an impact on my day through their customer service and patience. They have 2 different filling flavors a day so there's always some variety. Great job CV Beard Papa team, we will be back!

My favorite cream puffs! All the different puffs and filling tastes great. The service is excellent and everyone there is very patient and explain everything. I come here whenever I am craving for dessert or need something to bring to parties or events. You can't go wrong with the place!

Came here last Sunday night, just as they were closing. James provided great customer service. He was really helpful & nice. He didn't rush me even though they were closing. I had the original, ube, matcha and strawberry white chocolate with vanilla cream filling. All were amazing and still crunchy. Yum!!

Very bad customer service. They were very rude and will charge if you ask for a box. One lady said very rudely and asked me why I didn't tip after waiting 1 hour in line for one lousy custard. It wasn't even that good. It was too hyped up. Don't go there. It's a waste of time.

Been waiting for this place to open! My sisters and I used to go to the one in San Fran a lot and so happy we now have a location in east bay. Stopped by after a work day to get a well deserved cream puff. I got the ube filled w vanilla cream and the boyfriend got the churro filled w Vietnamese coffee cream. Both were delicious - soft, fluffy and very generous w the cream. Will def come back when in the area. The service was also great. It was quick, friendly and the cashier even told us where to see their new flavors every week. Can't wait to stop by again!

My cravings got the best of me. I had these delivered twice already! The vanilla cream filling is delicious! Love the different flavored shell options. Strawberry shell and honey butter is a nice alternative but nothing beats the OG puff.

I wasn't pleasantly surprised to discover a Beard's Papa at the Castro Valley Marketplace. The two employees at the counter were friendly. There were two customers ahead of me and the line moved fairly quickly. I ordered the regular cream puff with the vanilla custard filling and it was delicious. There's a different flavor of the day throughout the week. I need to visit on a Monday when the Vietnamese coffee filling is available.
One of the best puff pastries I've had. I love that they have so many variations and options and the filling of the day changes from day to day and weekly. I really enjoyed the honey butter with vanilla filling. It was the perfect amount of puff and custard. The staff was so nice and took her time to tell us what was good. I really want to come back for the Vietnamese coffee filling and ube filling!

I'll keep this review short, the plain, chocolate eclair, honey butter and strawberry puffs are all amazing and the flavor and texture are absolutely on point. I also love that this is a woman owned business and I love supporting the owner Yeye. Check this place out guys.
