Real, honest BBQ. I had the 2 meat combo with brisket, ribs, mac & cheese and potato salad. Best BBQ I have had since I was in Austin Texas! The owner was working hard with the rest of his employees and was the one to take my order. He seemed very nice and was helpful. I work within walking distance so I can see myself becoming a regular here. Canyons is an excellent addition to Castro Valley's food scene.
We had lunch yesterday and tried a bit of everything, the food was great and fast. The chicken was juicy and plenty of flavor, the brisket was tender but the tri-tip could of been taken out a bit sooner but we sti ate everything. The desserts took longer than our food and they were not warm, I understand they are precooked but definitely recommend throwing them in the oven for a few minutes and then we wouldn’t have minded waiting for them specially with the ice cream on top...read full review
Great place to get together with friends eat bbq and drink a beer. Excellent selection to choose from and they also serve breakfast! Will definitely be back to try more things on the menu
