The people that cut and serve you bbq here do not care. They will give you fat that no one in their right mind would eat. I love fatty brisket, but not from a brisket that has been improperly trimmed. It's only supposed to be a 1/4" trimmed off but the photos show what I ended up with. That fat is added into the price!

Ok, I think it’s hard to find REAL BBQ in California. I’m just giving up. Coming from the South where GOOD BBQ is in abundance, my standards are a bit higher. I ordered the bbq chicken since the staff was unaware of what “marble cut” brisket was, so I decided to stay away from it. I added a photo which explains it for those who don’t know ?. The chicken was ok. Nice portion. Mac & Cheese was bland and so was the corn bread. Fries were cold so they brought me fresh ones which I appreciated. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and he liked it. No freshly brewed iced tea either, which is a MUST for any BBQ joint.Overall this was a nice place, but I wasn’t a fan of another California BBQ joint.

I really love the brisket and ribs. I’m rating this place a 3 star because they constantly run out of food like 2-3 hours before the restaurant closes. They usually run out of brisket, baked potatoes, and ribs. If you want them for dinner you have to catch them on a slow day. Please get more food Canyons!

Served fast, top quality meat. I had the brisket sandwich and the meat melted in my mouth. Corn bread was good. My husband had the ribs, he absolutely loved them. Beans and potato salad also good. This is a class act done very professionally inside and out.

A little loud, sound echos. Sodas are off a bit, coke tastes like salt water. Beans were bad, chicken appears slightly undercooked, cornbread tasteless if you even imagine that, macaroni and cheese cold and tasteless, coleslaw extremely plain, can't recommend a darn thing. Over priced, $9 for a potato.

The experience was nice. The place looks pretty nice. The service was nice. The food is a bit bland. Their cherry soda that my mom got, I tried taste like cough syrup. The regular Cola taste like Diet cola. They're pineapple cream soda taste interesting but my roommate liked it.

4- San Franciscan’s all “ENJOYED “ numerous different !!! beverages, atmosphere, but mostly the meat dishes ??. Bread to us San Franciscans all agreed ??. Sauce’s hot/ cold blended properly. Sides very small. Coleslaw bland. But this is my go to place when I’m in the mood . Easy parking. # 1 . Reminded me of Flynts in E-Oakland and San Pablo

Canyons Barbeque is a unique find with a spacious outdoor seating area, a variety of beer options, and fun soda flavors like pineapple cream soda. The cost of the food was as expected for a BBQ joint. BBQ preferences can often be subjective but tend to remain open to various versions and really focus on the sides as a flavorful addition to the meat and BBQ Sauces. Canyons barbecue didn't disappoint. I appreciated both of their spicy and regular BBQ sauce. We ordered Tri tip, chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the tri tip was fatties than I'd like. But each meat option was tasty, burnt/caramelized to the right amount, and not too salty, as you might often find. The sides paired nicely, the mac and cheese was creamier than expected, the coleslaw provided a nice coolness with the spicy BBQ, the beans were more of a chili blend with meat and not just beans, delicious nonetheless. Lastly, the garlic and cornbread were toasted to perfection. It is a great location for friends and family.

I’ve only ordered pick up through DoorDash here. Most of the time I went in, I never got good vibes from the employees; it seemed like I wasn’t welcome there. There was only one time where I didn’t catch a better vibe here and it was an older lady with silver hair who greeted me and gave me my food.Along with that, all of the meals I paid for here were nearly $30 in total and when receiving my meals, I got skimped on about 50% of them. I’m not sure if they weigh the meat, but things like brisket are listed at a 1/2 pound. ?❓

Very little meat. You get a lot of sides but hardly any meat. I'm here for the BBQ not what you feed the cows. When you ask for extra meat you are charge the amount of the plate. All in all you are better off going to Safeway or finding a BBQ pit on the side of the highway because this place will charge you a lot for so little.

The Staff was very very friendly and Helpful And beers are pretty good but the brisket we had had a very strong, lighter fluid taste anybody that’s working whoever doing the barbecuing and I do a lot of barbecuing I make the best barbecue at home they need to cut down on the lighter fluid. Add more wood And Cole and cut down the lighter fluid
