My third time here. They used to be on the ground floor, but now are downstairs. Great vibe. Excellent service and craft beer options. Will go here every time we stop at the marketplace.

The embodiment of "Cool vibes," Cordial provides expertise and professionalism, along with delicious foods and beverages. I've been enjoying this place for years. The customers at the bar seating are lively and friendly. The live music is always good to set the tone for, whatever, occasion. Parking is easy, on site, in the back of the Marketplace building. The chef is a skilled host too. This is a family operated business. Locals make the difference. Double check the dining service hours since the bottle shop opens early, and the cooking happens at various other times.

Awesome place to meet your girlfriends for brunch.
Jazz Band was great !
Good food, good wine
Haven't been to this place in a while but the times I have gone it's been a cozy welcoming vibe with good drinks & food.
Interesting selections. Plus I see they have alcohol ice cream which tasted very boozy. Must try!!?
Great ambiance, there was a good live band. Plenty of tasty wines and they have delicious bitings.
Love how elegant they've made this basement space - it's always a nice respite from the outside world. Enjoy their flights and great beer selection, and the popcorn is always tasty. Peer into the heart of deliciousness with the sous vide cheesecake, made of goat cheese with graham cracker crumbs and Irish whiskey dulce de leche. Quite tasty! But I admit, I was sad to see it served in jar form versus a slice. I probably should have guessed that from the "sous vide," huh?
We go to their happy hour and just love the ambiance of their downstairs lounge.

We usually only come here for special events where they do a set menu and wine pairing. Last one we went to was Hawaiian themed with a live band playing Xmas music island style. We always have a good time. It's usually fairly intimate and each dinner has about 20-25 guests. Just follow Castro Valley Marketplace on social media to get notified about these events.
A hidden gem! Love the beauty and quantness about the place. Staff is awesome! Wine and snacks are great.
A hidden gem in the basement, this is a favorite wine bar. Creative wine flights are a strong draw. Staff are knowledgeable, there is a limited selection of bar food.
They have good stuff, not the same thing you find everywhere else. They put some thought into it
Great selection of higher end beer and spirits.
