I rarely write reviews but I've never eaten anything as disgusting before. Only came because I was exhausted and hungry after work. Ordered half chicken, which their claimed to be a specialty dish. OMG, it arrives cold, like ice cold, straight out of fridge kind of cold. The place is very dirty, sticky menu, very dirty floor. Seeing the condition, I decided to just eat couple bite and get out. Check came, auto added 15% surcharge. Just don't come, I hope I won't get food poisoning tonight...

I was disappointed with my experience at King Kong Chinese restaurant. The eel clay pot rice, priced at over $70 without prior notice, seemed excessively expensive. When I raised concerns about the high prices, the staff argued about overhead costs, including labor, utilities, and rent. It's reasonable to discuss costs, but expecting customers to cover all expenses is questionable. Additionally, the food was mediocre, not justifying the high price.

I ate in and ordered many times but once the Singapore Fried noodles I took home substitute char-siu with Spam!! They could have told me about the changes when I ordered but they didn't mention it. That was the last time I have them my business

We've had good meals at the San Leandro branch, but things were off tonight. The spare ribs had some bites with a weird metallic flavor and the fortune cookies were mushy. The duck was good though!

I wanted to like this place, but after today, I cannot. We ordered a lamb stew dish. While it tasted decent, the meats had a lot of tiny bones that hurt our teeth when we bite into them. The meat was also dry AF, not enough gravy to get by. Also ordered a sweet and sour pork that had more bones than meat. Service was also bad.

Mediocre Chinese food. Very dissapointed with lunch menu and service. Not accustomed to hot dogs in stir fry rice. The place was clean, but restroom was out of service.

My friend got absolutely terrible food poisoning after eating there on September 4, 2023. My friend wasn't even able to make it home in time before diarrhea set in! Health department, close this place down!

Went there and the place was empty. I usually like supporting little mom and pop Asian restaurants but have to be honest, I thought the food was just ok. Maybe it was just the dishes were ordered. We ordered veggie eggrolls, general tso chicken and seafood pan fried noodles. Can't say anything about the eggrolls since my kids were the ones that ate it. The general tso chicken looked like it was just minced chicken, and when we tasted it the flavor was fine but this was barely breaded especially with very small meat pieces. The seafood pan fried noodles were crispy but did lack the pan flavor. The noodle dish was a bit on the salty side and the flavor that sticks out the most was soy sauce. I usually like the pan fried noodles for the pan flavor and sauce that's is a mixture of seasonings. I can make crispy noodles with soy sauce seasoning myself. Sorry I grew up with my dad cooking all the time, and he used to work at a restaurant. So I'm a little picky. The bathroom has a sign indicating out of order but it worked. The floor felt greasy and I kept feeling like I was going to slip and fall.

We were in the area in the shopping center. And I sat down to a very unattractive front café with sticky table top. This is not because the varnish is removed. It's because it was dirty, sticky with droplets. As dirty as it seemed, the food was fantastic. And the food itself is two stars. It would be four stars had the place looked aesthetically pleasing. For 1395+ $1.50 for the fried rice or the chow mein noodle, you do not get any soup with your lunch special. This is definitely not the place to take anyone that you're trying to impress. Definitely not! You can, however split the meal into to bring back the value. The price of hot and sour soup, this place really Auto have soup to go with the lunch special. Not cool. The crunchy chicken was fabulous due to the vinegary batter and plentiful sauce. I'll try to load up two pictures for you since there's not a whole lot of lunch special pictures on this yelp. Have a great day.

The service was good, they were really nice, but the food is not good, lack of flavors and they pack so little for me, I had ordered to go. I don't if it's more if I dine in but the place look very old.. I got there already so I just order only, but wish I look at some other place first.

The food was ok. The salty pig was good. The beef chow fun was mushy. Nothing really stood out. Dont think I would go back

Best fast Chinese food option in the area. Some cheaper options out there, but Kong's quality is worth an extra buck. Vast menu with lots of authentic options. Deep Fried Eggplant, Pot Stickers, and the Mongolian Beef are all-stars.
