I'm just going to give a solid 3. We went to lunch and ice cream... the service was really good and so was the ice cream. I had the French dip and it was pretty flat and not that great. Not a lot of meat either and the meat was kinda rubbery. Whatever. My friend had sliders and they didn't look good... just like some ground beef patties on a Hawaiian roll with some lettuce and tomato accompaniment. My sister got the crab sandwich and said it wasn't that great. It looked very Mayo-Ish (like dripping juice with each bite) and she said the crab must have been canned or something, but it def wasn't fresh crab meat. I would have assumed that before ordering... this isn't fancy dining here... it's an ice creamery. My other sis got a grilled cheese and I don't think you can mess that up much... prob was the best entree at the table. I ordered some ice cream sundae w/ extra nuts and that was 5 stars without a doubt. Sadly, I could not finish it or take it to go. It was the best part of the experience. Except the waitress was super sweet too... she did as best as she could. We got there when it opened and it was empty inside. When we left it was full and I feel like she was taking care of everyone!!! Props for that. Not one complaint about the waitress! She reminded me of Miley Cyrus. Solid 3 stars for this place... if we would gave only ordered ice cream, prob would have given 4 stars.

I love love love the frozen bananas with chocolate and nuts. You really can't find these at that many places. Yummo!

Love this place. The manager is very nice. They're one of a few places that still make frozen banana dipped in chocolate and nuts. They also make excellent pies, especially mud pies. They have delicious assortment of chocolate. They even have sugar free chocolate. Must try if you haven't had it. ‼ They'll be close for renovation from Xmas till March 2024. I ordered my mudpie for Xmas dessert. Not sure what I'm going to do with them closed for 3 months.

Ridiculously expensive. $9 for a cup of soup. Just had lunch there. 2 sandwiches with fries, 2 cups of soup and 2 iced tea's came out to $78 after tax. Exorbitant even with today's inflation. Food wasn't bad and service was fine, but this is way too much to pay for diner style food. Could have gone for a steak at a nicer place for this kind of money. Only come here for ice cream.

I felt like I was full after I ate half but it was good and I kept eating… so maybe don’t go if you don’t need to eat tons of ice cream.The ambiance was fun with little plushies on some shelves behind our bench against the wall. There was a little car in the corner by the door near the street entrance. The girls serving were nice too.All 5 of us loved our ice cream and finished it all up. Yum yum!

Wow, just like Fenton's! Apparently the owners of Fenton's helped this family get this business off the ground and by looking at the menu there are eerily similar items. My favorite being the brownie sundae and also the Coffee Cookie Dream ice cream. I will say the Coffee Cookie Dream at Fenton's is much more filled with Oreo and Cookie Dough--this one didn't have chunks in each bite like Fenton's does. They do have a rather robust menu for those that want savory before sweet. There is a ton of indoor seating and you can even see them make their own chocolates in house. I didn't realize this was a family business with rich history but I am glad I stumbled across this because it's the perfect place to come with family and grab a bite and fulfill your sweet tooth. Their collections of chocolates and other homemade items are plentiful. You should check them out for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

I called a month ago asking to speak to the supervisor and the person on the phone couldn't understand me. I had to repeat myself multiple times. They still didn't understand me and then hung up on me. I just called today and spoke with a manager and they kept interrupting me, misunderstanding me, said "I'm not going to argue with you and also hung up on me. I tried calling again and they did the same thing. I can't believe how manipulative those two phone calls were with the manager. I was expecting professionalism but this was this complete opposite.

Reminds me of an old school cafeteria. A little pricey, but you are in the Bay Area where property rental price is super high. Coffee Ice cream Just like your normal coffee ice cream. Nothing Special or outstandingly different. Location Placed in the heart of Hayward out skirts near the freeway. Plenty of parking at the time of going

If you like good American favorites, house made ice cream & candies, this is the place. Old fashioned ice cream parlor, with food & candy. I've had a French dip, a black & tan ice cream sundae & a black & white sundae. All delicious. Plenty of seating, good service, & giant sundae's. Bring the family or a date.
