My favorite Italian sandwich place in the East Bay. They get busy at times, but it’s worth it. The food is good and they are consistent. Parking is easy on the side streets, but very limited in the front. There is a lot in the back too if needed.

Highly recommend their made to order sandwiches! Fresh deli meats, cheeses, bread & produce. Always delicious. They also offer Italian take & bake entrès like meat-filled ravioli w/ bolognase sauce & lasagna. Indoor seating, cold drinks, & a large offering of dry goods. Great place for hostess gifts ! I happily sacrifice sacrine-sweet customer service for quick efficiency 😁

Excellent sandwiches made with fresh breads and quality Boar's Head meats and cheeses.

I usually come here for sandwiches, however this time I came for the quick dinners. Lucca's has a few refrigerators full of different dishes. I bought the meat ravioli, lasagna, tortellini, etc The meat ravioli was delicious enough for two and it heats up within minutes. The prices are affordable and it great for folks that don't want to cook.

Luccas is a fantastic sandwich spot. Everything is freshly cut and made carefully to ensure greatness. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area of Castro Valley and are looking for a good sandwich once you come here you’ll never go to another place for sandwiches.
