VERY poorly managed sandwich shop. Jose the manager needs to attend a seminar on managerial etiquette. Ordered on the Mr Pickles website for a pickup at 10:00am. Showed up the next morning and Jose couldn't find my order and said "can't find it".No apology and took ZERO responsibility for not having my 'group' order for a local medical practice that requested food from this restaurant. I responded with "well this isn't my problem" as he clearly was totally indifferent to dropping the ball on my order. He proceeded to tell the employees making the sandwiches to "take all the time you need, don't hurry this customer's order, he is rude"... Couldn't believe this guy. Fortunately a young lady who worked behind the cash register smoothed things over with greater finesse. Btw, that girl could run circles around you Jose. Contact corporate as I did to let them know which locations (like this one) have gone awry! I suggest that if you're hungry in CV, bring your business elsewhere (like Luccas Deli (across the street). WAY better food and exceptional customer service.

In my last review I said I'd be back. This time I placed my order online, then to give them enough time, stopped by the bank and did another errand. Came back and it wasn't ready, so went to a dessert shop and came back and still not quite ready so grabbed a starbucks. Then it was ready. The young man was really apologetic. I don't mind, as it looked like it was only him and he was a bit swamped. Grabbed my sandwich and I felt it was a bit heavy. Mind you the sandwiches are big in it's self, but when I got home I noticed the young man had given me an extra half and a cookie, probably for my trouble. So for the folks reading this, please give this young man a bonus for his excellent customer service. I didn't get his name, but the young man was working around 430pm on 3/6/24, I ordered the Mrs. Pickle and again terrific quality. If Oakland wasn't such a business shit show this place would be a good hit and would have a regular.

I have no idea how I've always driven past this location and never noticed it. Well, this time i ordered online and picked up. They get a lot of business and many people were eating inside. It was clean, but too dark for me. I got my sandwich to go. When i got home it was still delicious. People working inside were nice. Wish there was a sign that told me where to pick up mobile orders, but i figured it out. Would come here again for delicious sandwiches.

I had the same experience as some others have stated....I arrived on a weekday morning and there were two women who just looked at me for a while and did not greet or serve, but just kept talking. They were fully aware i was there waiting. Eventually, one of them did attend to me but acted as if she was doing me a favor and with attitude. She eventually just tossed my sandwich in the bag , again with attitude.I like the sandwhics but this sort of lazy non-customer service will make people avoid coming here.

Ordered 1/2 Deli sandwich. They gave me a whole one. Ordered AND PAID for cheese. There was none. The correct order was on the receipt. Didn't know until I got home that it was WRONG. Maybe sandwich makers who pay attention would be a good idea?

Ordered Baja sandwich online to go. Got home and wrong sandwich was in the bag. Is it that difficult to place the correct order in the correct bag? Apparently it is.

I literally just walked in 7/14/24 @6:58pm . Two young girls just stared at me and then each other and didn’t greet me but kept snickering . I thought they were closing early because it felt like they didn’t want to work since they just kept smiling at each other but looking at me . I said “seems like you guys want to go home early and don’t want to be at work “, bigger set girl says “yeah I don’t “ , then other girls finally says “no we are open “ .....”welcome in “ ....”.how can I help you “. It was Very unprofessional and I didn’t feel welcome anymore which was sad to me because I wanted to try their sandwiches for the first time but those girls gave me a very bad vibe . So I decided to not proceed with my order. So much for a first experience

I always order the tuna sandwich. Super good and so filling. The Dutch bread is just crunchy enough and soft inside. Totally recommend this tuna sandwich

Great sandwiches and you are in and out in 10 minutes or less. If you decide to eat there, there is plenty of memorabilia to keep your eyes in mind engaged. There are also TVs that you can enjoy watching. The staff is extremely friendly, and if you are from the area, you will likely run into someone you know.

Came here for lunch today. It's located at a plaza where parking is such a headache because it shares with so many other restaurants. This restaurant has a few tables inside for dine in. I appreciate how big it is in comparison to other locations. Stood in line for a while waiting for someone to take my order. The staff moved slow and spent a lot of time talking to each other or standing around. Wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that the line was getting longer behind me. Also, I don't know if it's just me but it's weird that all the staff just had their hair loose (many of them with long hair - both gender) while preparing . Seems like a high chance of hair just falling on the food or ingredients. I got The Ranch with the works on Dutch crunch bread. It was delicious as always and one of my favorite sandwich. The price seems higher than the last time I went - I think I spent $15 for one sandwich without a drink or chips.
