This place is amazing! The pastries are so good, the bread has a perfect balance and crumb. I love that the sugar level in the breads is lower than store bought. I buy all my bread there now. Everyday of the week is a different bread feature. The Tuesday bread is perfect for sandwiches and the Sunday bread is perfect for French toast!! The servers are always polite and don’t mind my mispronunciation of the pastries every time. Thank you so much for being here in Castro Valley!!
I agree with Steve. Overpriced. Mediocre at this point. Could barely get a hello from the girl behind the counter…been there a couple times and she seems like she can never be bothered. Prices would also be nice, $35 for four pastries was definitely unexpected.

First visit to the Castro Valley Marketplace. A nice selection of pastries at Seven Hills - but overpriced IMO. Customer service was lacking. The light roast coffee was out - and they didn't have a replacement ready to go - and made it feel as we were putting them out to brew more to replace it. The sugar container was empty as well. It's a small space - so keeping an eye on sugar and coffee levels should be easy.

My favorite- scone without the frosting! Their croissants are also very good. Have been trying different things from them every time I go and most of them are pretty solid. Staffs are also very nice.

This place is just ok but way overpriced for what you get. $7.00 for a 4 Oz cup of tapioca or chocolate mouse?? That's just a rip off! The customer service isn't great either, which is frustrating.

It was good I love almond pastries and the filling was smooth and just delightful. Kind of sad they couldn't warm it up because I know it would've been 10 times better and i still want to try the almond bread. So I will be back with a microwave !!!

The pumpkin seed, walnut, raisin muffin is to die for. Their cookies are also bomb. Haven't tried their bread yet, verdict is still out on that.
