I had a pork rice bowl and got the two popular ramens for my cousins. My cousins loved it. I loved it -- especially with the spicy red pepper seasoning condiment I put on it.The cook / counter person -- she was helpful and kind.

Ramen was ok. The bowls are tiny for 16.95 before tax. There are much better places you can eat for $30

The service is great, I got the Takoyaki and Una Don both were really well prepared. I don't really know much about the food but they explained everything to me well and recommended what to get. The ramen there is also excellent which I definitely recommend .

Happy to have this place in the neighborhood. I come here often. Spicy shumi ramen or black garlic are my favorites. Good broth. Only real issue is with plating. Since covid, when you eat in, you get everything packaged separately and have to pour the broth from its plastic container into a to go bowl. A lot of wasted plastic and takes away from the dining experience and feels cheap. Also, those cheap plastic soup spoons are small and feel like they are going to cut your lip. When the meal is soup, you need a good spoon.

I ordered a pork ramen. The soup is good and 2 slices of pork are very thin. Lunch time is very busy on the weekend.

Vegetable Shumi Ramen was delicious and very creamy, they were very friendly when we arrived and were happy to answer any questions we had.

Shumi ramen, lack of ingredients, Sue taste it very blend, almost no taste at all, the fried chicken is not bad, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Noodle seems like a package ramen. Overall very disappointed, if you want ramen avoid this place.
Love the ramen there. Plus the noodle bowls ( non single use) are BACK. Go support a place that tries to be more sustainable!

Friendly counter service. Ramen light on toppings. But poor food safety service, as I found a piece of torn plastic bag at the bottom of my bowl.

Located in Lake Chabot Public Market, this food hall offers several (Asian) eats in a very nice, airy building, with plenty of seating. I got the ube fries from Shumi Ramen and they were good :)
