More of an order ahead and pick up kind of place. Very fast, even during rush hour my coffees is ready within 5mins. One small gripe is that they often don't put a sleeve on the hot coffee cup and you have to ask for it.

I don't like that they took out their tables but I can't complain about their food/drinks because it's Starbucks and their drinks are nice. We only come to most Starbucks for drinks. I don't often get pastries and other snack items. The staff at this location was really slow acting like we should have just used the app. I know this location is trying to make this a grab and go place but if you want to sit down good luck. That's not going to happen. Might as well sit in your car. The parking lot sucks. By far one of the not so great location of Starbucks I've ever been to.

Disappointing Experience at Starbucks Castro ValleyMy recent visit to the Starbucks located at 22095 Center St, Castro Valley, CA 94546 left much to be desired. While the location boasts decent parking, the overall experience was marred by several shortcomings.First and foremost, the parking situation detracted from the convenience of grabbing a quick coffee. Hunting down a parking spot added unnecessary stress and detracted from the overall experience.Additionally, the recent layout changes implemented by Starbucks have significantly impacted the ambiance and functionality of the store. The new system is confusing and lacks clarity, leading to a disorganized atmosphere where patrons are unsure whether they’re waiting for their drinks or simply in line to order. The absence of tables and chairs only compounds the issue, leaving customers with nowhere to comfortably enjoy their beverages.While the staff members were commendably friendly, the design and layout of the store are undeniably flawed. It’s evident that the changes were intended to address certain issues, but they have ultimately resulted in a subpar experience for customers.Overall, I was disappointed by my visit to Starbucks Castro Valley. Despite the efforts of the staff, the poor layout and confusing system detracted from what should have been a simple and enjoyable coffee run. I hope that Starbucks will reconsider their approach and strive to create a more customer-friendly environment in the future.

No chairs, bad attitude, pick up only since when? Act like everybody has their stupid app. Lazy staff, take their time, didn't wash hands when handling food.

Rude as can be, we asked about an order and the lady with the short curly hair and glasses gave my wife the dirtiest response and attitude. they made us wait 35 minutes and took care of all all the mobile order and had a room full of in-house orders just standing there. No sense of order and will not be going back to this Starbucks . If you have a bad attitude you shouldn't come into work

Parking is a pain.They did some major renovation in 2023. As a result, no more indoor seatings and no more customer restroom. Wth?

This was a truly disappointing experience. I walked in & my order was taken right away I paid $15.36 cash for an order of 2 coffees, a cake pop, and a string cheese. After waiting 20 minutes for my drink, I checked in and asked for a status. They said didn’t have my drinks or food on order. She went looking through all the tickets- still couldn’t find it. I was done waiting at this point and asked for a refund. When as the register & after telling the manager what I had he proceeded to refund me $10.35 and said he’d give me a free drink card to make up the $15.36. I refused and said I wanted the full refund amount I paid cash. I don’t know what is going on here but it was very sketchy.Also, this whole time the coffee bar was backed up the manager didn’t even attempt to help them. He just was on his tablet doing who knows what.

This Castro Valley Starbucks: filthy restroom, parking lot with a nasty curb jutting out where you turn. Cramped parking lot not enough space to turn around.Coffee good, just a lousy place for a Starbucks.
