Ordered through the Snackpass app, so I could just pick it up directly when I get there. Worked out since the parking lot is an extremely small lot to the side, not a big plaza. They have two designated parking spots for U Cha customers, but the first time I went, both were taken, so I parked on the other end temporarily. Their classic milk tea is pretty good, I would get it again if I was in the area! The honey boba was soft and chewy, I don't have any complaints on the pearls. However, I would not recommend getting a hot drink from here. The cups for hot drinks are not the best quality and the lid keeps falling off, so unfortunately I had spilled some of my drink on my car. The chicken katsu sando, I highly recommend!! It tasted better than I expected! Compared to katsu sandwiches you can get from like the Asian market, U Cha's is definitely better for about the same cost. It's got a nice crispy outside and juicy inside. I would definitely get it again. Their Tokyo fries were good, however spicy mayo is just not a flavor I personally like, so next time I would just get the fries by itself.

Came here with a friend to get dessert and catch up after a meal, and it was the perfect quiet place that we needed! The music wasn't too loud and there wasn't too many people inside of the place. I ordered a lychee green tea with lychee jelly. The size was very large and as you can see, they gave me a whole bunch of topping, so I appreciate the portion size for the cost. It took around ten minutes for us to get our drinks, but I noticed that there was a huge order that they were preparing at the same time, so we didn't mind the wait. I have a really big sweet tooth, so I enjoy boba shops of all kinds as long as the tea isn't too bitter. But this place took it a little too far. I put in 100% sweetness, but the syrup taste was really overpowering. Since it was a lychee flavored tea, I couldn't tell whether it was from the syrup of the lychee flavoring or the lychee jelly. It took me a while to get used to it, but I ended up finishing it anyways. If you'd like to get any drinks from here, please lower your sugar level from your normal setting! I'd probably come back if I can remember my own advice.

U-Cha is a new go to! Service is always quick and easy! We love the mojito drinks, and the popcorn chicken is very tasty! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Helpful tip would be to order ahead, especially if it's close to when the Castro Valley High School gets out! Lots of students flock here after school!

Not impressed. The drink we ordered was oolong mt, it came out not tasting well. The service was non existent. The machine self service ordering also had the audacity to ask for a tip. Like what am I going to do? Tip myself? The store was empty the whole time my friend and I were there (6-7pm). Not a vibe.

Wide variety of drinks and food options! I liked that I could order through a touch screen. I opted for the Lychee Peachy, and it was ready within 5 minutes. I got 75% sugar, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness for me. It was super refreshing! I wish they gave more lychee jelly though. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely be back to try their food.

Roasted milk tea w boba 75% sugar, pretty flavorful tea, boba was perfectly soft, fluffy and chewy.
Very delicious Ramen!!! Very glad we chose to try our local Ramen spot. Very lovely ambiance and wonderful service. I will definitely be back. Also, the large selection of boba drinks and teas is lovely. I had the Misi Ramen and the mojito lychee tea.

I was curious about this tea boba ramen shop and had an opportunity to stop by for lunch. Plenty of parking on a Monday afternoon. Walking in there are two kiosks to place your order. I found the screen not too intuitive so I placed my order through a wait person who was friendly and patient. Since it was lunch time, I had the curry pork cutlet over rice with a grapefruit green tea and boba drink. Modern pop mandarin music played in the background. The drink came first then followed by the food. The drink had fresh grapefruit bits and was refreshing. Whereas the food, it had a generous portion of rice surrounded by curry sauce with onions and mushrooms and of course the breaded cutlet. I liked the curry, it was not quite the typical Japanese or Chinese curry. The cutlet was cut in nice large slices. Overall, I had enjoyed the dining experience and would return to try other drinks and dishes.

I'm not one to leave a bad review about any place once so ever but this particular encounter really just rubbed me the wrong way. The restaurant you can do contactless ordering and I love that but once I ordered my food, a young girl came out the back to place the orders on the counter. I don't know if she was just being stuck up bc she has a friend come and see her at work but she has someone pick up an order and as they walked in grabbed their order and checked to see if everything was correct, the young lady was just staring at her blinking hard with so much attitude I noticed it and made a face because you don't have to be in contact with many people if majority of the orders are no contact orders the least you can do is have good customer service. I get hiring young kids is a thing for the younger kids to get into working but at least tell them your customer service expectation's because I will not be coming back to place after seeing that. It was very distasteful and not welcoming what so ever.
