One of the many Chinese options available in Castro Valley. Slightly small front parking lot but they have overflow parking in the back. I come here regularly and will probably come here a lot more given the food is cheaper than Hong Kong bbq and pretty much the same quality. Recently ordered the beef fried rice and curry beef stew. The beef stew was super tender, soft, and flavorful. Great service and ambiance.
Food was great. Service was amazing. We came on New Year's Day luckily they were open! We were sat quickly and ordered orange chicken, mangolian beef, honey walnut prawns and Hong Kong style chow mein. Everything came out pretty fast. The food was delicious. We rarely ever finish our plates at other places but we pretty much cleared our entire meal and it was a good portion size as well. This is an absolutely fantastic Chinese restaurant. It changed hands a good few years back and they completely revamped the place, food included. The service here is excellent, the menu is better than average, and the food is also better than average. If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant with a bit more class and more refined food, this is the place to go.
