Apong's Philly Steak

I went in for a Philly cheesesteak one night and it was OK, but it tasted nothing like a Philly cheesesteak that I’ve had in Philadelphia. The meat was not sautéed on the grill. It was like stewed beef on a roll so that wasn’t my favorite and then I thought I’d try the Filipino food itself because I make that and I haven’t had it for a long time so I ordered the pansit and the chicken adobo and they were very stingy on the rice. It was a small container, but it wasn’t even full with rice and the adobo was two legs and a thigh and part of a chicken wing. The adobo flavor was not even there in the pansit Hardly have any vegetables and when I’ve had pants, it has big pieces of Carrots and cabbage and other wonderful flavors to it and this was so bad the noodles were cooked correctly, but there wasn’t that many in the portion. Paying $20 for adobo and $20 for the pansit For what we got was just unforgivable. I will never go back there again, but I am gonna go in and tell them myself why experienced and why I’m not coming back. They need to know if they want to stay in business that is.

We had a great meal at The Spong's Philly Steak. The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff were very friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely eat here again.

I absolutely love this family owned business. Delicious chicken cooked to order. I grew up with southern home cooked food. It's my desert favorite! More importantly, they make you feel so special 💓

I had a bacon cheesesteak with fries. The cheesesteak was delightful. The french fries were crisp. Food price is appropriate for this quality and location.
(While I am sad that they are no longer located walking distance from where my car gets serviced, this new location is really very nice.)

First visit. Lovely atmosphere, clean, friendly, fast, hot fresh food. Ordered the chicken pancit and very disappointed because I kept looking for the chicken and there were only a few shreds! Call it vegetarian pancit or add more chicken.
