My only thing is the price. Yeah we got 9 $2 tacos but adding a small side of rice and beans and it came to almost $35. Sheesh. They might be blaming prices on the $20 minimum wage law but they don't have 60 locations in the country.
Appetizer-sized burritos, nothing special. Al pastor was bland, looked more like unmarinated shredded pork, not great, not terrible, but also not what I was expecting for al pastor. Also why is it so hard to find super burritos in SoCal?
Stopped by Elvira’s Taqueria for lunch after a notary appointment in Cathedral City. The restaurant was very clean, friendly staff and food was made fresh to order. We ordered the 3 quesa birria tacos with consommé plate. They were delicious! The meat was flavorful and shells just the right crispness. The consommé was definitely authentic and very flavorful.
