Memos is always a great choice for dinner. You’re always welcomed with a smile from the sushi chefs, the portion sizes are generous, and if you’re lucky, you might even get a complimentary appetizer as a thank-you for dining local. My favorites right now: the Mexican roll, basically a teriyaki chicken bowl rolled without rice, sooo good, and the Alexia roll. The mango and cream cheese combo is amazing plus, they have chavelas!

We were warmly greeted when we walked in and told to pick a seat anywhere, we chose to sit near the chef so we could kind of watch. They were prompt with service and were ready with any questions we might had. We ordered an ecstasy roll, a poolman roll, a sushi combo dinner a couple drinks, the dinner came with salad and miss soup. Every was delicious, the Chef sent our table (I cannot remember the name of the roll but it is a house specialty, made with a cilantro lime sauce absolutely incredible, well balanced roll) every thing was played beautifully the portion were much larger than I expected was pleasantly surprised(we had leftovers) every plate eas adorned with fresh orchids. This place is on thebpricy side I would save it for special occasions, fabulous food fabulous service, I recommend trying as much as you can and finishing your meal with a glass of plum wine. You won't be disappointed, fresh delicious, beautiful.

Our normal spot Otori is closed on Sunday night so we decided to try Memo’s. Wow!!! What an amazing place!! Probably a little better than Otori actually, which is a hard thing to do. The roll selection was amazing and so unique. The sushi and sashimi were extremely fresh. They even gave us a roll on the house which overall was a ton of food but so good!! Highly recommend!! We’ll definitely be back. It’s kind of a hole in the wall appearance wise, but don’t be scared off by the bright lights and standard tables and chairs.

Food was good, it's in my neighborhood so I stopped in. Seems like the staff knew every single person that came in the door but me so I'm sure they frequent it a lot. Little bit on the expensive side for what it was but it was solid, I enjoyed my meal, the staff was nice. I went with a simple meal just to try it, I plan on coming back to try their specials that have good reviews.

I personally don't like sushi but my family does and they loved this place so they highly recommend it. I recommend the miso soup.
My wife got sick of too much salty food. I have ordered a cup of tea and was charged $7.99 for a cup of tea. We also told that they charged 3% using credit card and better to pay cash to get 3% discount. It’s not a discount to begin with. Their prices is way higher compared to other Japanese restaurants around. Make sure you check the prices. No recommended! Prices high, food not that good and salty. Can’t get over with the $8.00 cup of tea. Even Starbucks has better quality tea for less than $8.00.
Please check the menu of this place super over price compared with other Japanese restaurants. Food was so disappointing as its very salty and only small portion for $20.00 and their tea in small cup was $7.99... outrageous. My husband ordered the chicken udon and it was salty so he needs to drink a lot of water to flush it out. Watch out as they charge 3% for credit card usage. For not very satisfying meal they wanted you to pay cash and they called it discounts. So disappointing dinner!!

We've gone to Memo's a few times over the years, and while the service is always very friendly and attentive, I'm not sure their prices are worth it anymore. We got some great bento boxes last night for dinner, but the California rolls seemed stale or maybe pre-made? Also, $7 for fountain soda?
I understand we live in a touristy area but these sorts of prices I expect in like swanky downtown Palm Springs or Las Vegas sushi restaurants.
