For the past 6 years I have been a frequent visitor of Romano's Pizza take-out. The previous owners were fair, honest and really cared about their clientele. At some point I guess they sold the business. The only way I was aware of this exchange of ownership was in the cost of my pie. My large pepperoni with extra cheese was now $15.00 dollars. There is a $2.50 charge for the extra cheese. This new price raise for the pizza in my opinion, is a big mistake because compared to Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Little Caesars they are going to lose customer base because nothing differentiates their pizza from the competition. The cheese, sauce and crust are standard. For me in the past it was about price and convenience that made Romano’s a standout. They have raised their prices above what would be considered normal to account for inflation, cost of ingredients, and sales help. Perhaps they are trying to pay off the loan for the restaurant in a record 12 months (LOL). I believe that once you lose that base, you have lost it for good. What a shame. Patience seems to be the secret ingredient to a successful business. (They) may want to rethink their strategy only time will tell.

Something has definitely changed. Six months ago the Supremo pizza was my favorite in the Coachella Valley. Now it tastes different and I’ve ordered it multiple times. Whatever they changed ruined it.

The vegetarian sub I had here was really good. The service and ambiance was meh (eg. No napkins given, only one outdoor table with no shade, no trashcan). I asked for a cup of water and was not given one, but maybe they don't give that?

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. When I got it home, there was not a single piece of pepperoni on it. I called, and the woman tried to convince me the pepperoni was hidden under the cheese. B.S. I won't be back.
I ordered a Pizza and went to pick it up 25 minutes later and they had not even started it. I don't think they care if they do business or not - must be a front for something.

I realize it's a quick casual take out place, but the order taker girl is apathetic. And I didn't realize they serve a veggie sub hot! Yuck!
