Such a fun experience, and definitely a true Palm Springs vibe! Food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding!
We were very comfortable outdoors. They had plenty of space heaters. The wait staff was very attentive and we had a wonderful experience.
Excellent food with excellent service. A little difficult to locate, but well worth the effort.
Nice little hidden gem. Quiet with great lighting, perfect to sit and enjoy dinner. Staff was very friendly
This is a jewel you would never “stumble upon”! It's tucked into a resort surrounded by residential homes. I happened upon an article about it in a magazine. So glad we tried it! We had the Paella. It's worth the extra prep time.
Lovely restaurant with really good Spanish food.

Eight of us went there on New Year's Eve and had a fantastic time! The wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. Food was excellent. We ordered several plates including the dates, deviled eggs, mushrooms, and brussel sprouts. Favorites though were the veggie empanadas and the honey whipped goat cheese. Will definitely be back!
This is good paella. The crusty rice at the bottom., the service, the flavor, the atmosphere. Five stars, zero complaints.
Thank you for a great evening.

A very good Spanish tapas restaurant a bit out of the way behind Trader Joe’s in cathedral city. Excellent empanadas cauliflower shrimp dishes

What a terrific addition to the Coachella Valley restaurant scene. Very good authentic Spanish tapas served by a friendly waiter. The restaurant is a bit out of the way behind Trader Joe's but it deserves to succeed
Overall good food. Mushroom croquette was not great. It lacked flavor, although great presentation. Chairs on outside patio were not at all comfortable.
So pleased we found out about this restaurant! Chef Cecilia is amazing! Enjoyed the wide selection of tapas and the paella! Don't forget the date cake! Nancy is so friendly and knowledgeable guiding us on our selections. She is lovely and made our dining experience a true delight! Definitely will be back!
So great to have Sol y Sombra open again!! Dining in the old adobe and learning its history is a chance to walk back to an earlier time in local history. Food was fantastic - all very traditional Spanish tapas and paella and as good as any I've had in Spain. Great value and experience!!
We were lucky to meet Chef Cecelia Connolly! Wonderful meal - incredible paella and cauliflower appetizer is legend.
