I ordered a churro and an iced coffee, and that might have been the best churro I ever ate (and I've tried a lot of different churros)!! Iced coffee was excellent too! I talked to the cook and he let me know that they were made from scratch, and it was so good that I had to try the Reuben too, which was also amazing! This is going to be a staple every time I'm in Cayucos from here on out!
Had the pleasure of having a churro and coffee from this lovely place. Just on the beach near the pier. Very friendly and we came from England the BEST churros we have ever tasted. Thank you!
If you’re ever in Cayucos or passing through , make sure to check out this place . The owner makes the best homemade churros I’ve ever had . Owner is personable and knows the area well . It’s right next to the pier, so it’s fun to walk the pier and after grab a hot homemade churro and one of his delicious lattes .

Chu-Chew's CHURROS, located near the pier, offers the BEST churros, fresh and tasty. These cloud-like-with-a-crunch snacks are perfect for munching along the pier. The owner is a very nice and courteous person, making the visit even more enjoyable. The churros are made from scratch, light, crisp, and warm, wrapped in a sleeve to keep hands clean. Dunk them in an El Salvadorean latte or try the excellent iced coffee. For something more, the Reuben sandwich and mango lassi are also amazing. The stand sits next to the sand in Cayucos, where the salty air and ocean waves make the experience even better. The owner sells them until he runs out of batter each day, so don’t miss out. It’s the perfect stop after a walk on the pier.
