“FIRE!!! Visiting from Phoenix, where there's an abundance of great burger spots, and the Cedar Glen Malt Shop's burgers did not disappoint. The fries taste like they're freshly cut. The 4.7 rating is well deserved, and if I could rate them with 6 stars, I would!!“
“Great atmosphere and food. Our server with the silver hair was awesome. He knew all the ingredients and made suggestions on what we should eat according to our diets.Vegetarian options: You can ask the server to remove ingredients such as meat from the dishes.Dietary restrictions: They can also make your dish vegan or gluten free, they will let you know if there is a ingredient in the dish.Parking: There are lots of spots in front and on the side of the building.Wheelchair accessibility: Mountain roads are bumpy, but there is a long ramp for the building.“
“The food is very good. Everything tasted fresh and made from scratch. There were familiar foods and also some new things to try which I really liked. Our server was friendly and even though we had a large party we did not wait long for our meals. We will be back. Note: Camarones a la Diabla is your choice if you like spicy food!“
“It's in the hotel, it's very clean and nice decor. Food was delicious but a little pricey. Service was nice. Only complaint would be if they seat you on the couch side of the table, you're going to be sitting very low to the table“
“I wish I could remember our amazing server’s name tonight, but it’s Thursday March 28th and she was FANTASTIC!!My husband and I, along with two friends, drove up from Victorville for dinner! They suggested Wrightwood for dinner, so I randomly suggested “this place I went to back in 2016 that had the best steaks”! They all agreed, on my word, so thank goodness its was just as amazing today as it was then! Our steaks had the most perfect char and yet cooked perfectly at rare and medium rare!’ SO DELICIOUS!! Don’t know how they do it, but we will 100% be back in the very near future!! Thank you to our fabulous and sassy server, you ROCK! Also, the bartender made an amazing old fashioned, well done, cheers to you! ?“
“An excellent restaurant for a nice dinner. Their steak and fried are both very good. The best though is their cheesebread and dipping sauce, which is a house made marinera. Literally the best I've ever had. They also have a good selection of wine and the staff is very friendly. We visit here periodically and have enjoyed it everytime. Hopefully they will have some new things on the menu to try next time.“
“We stopped by the Villager for breakfast while in town for the weekend and it's such a great spot! This was our first time there and we were definitely impressed. The ambiance and service are great and the breakfast menu was huge. My son ordered the breakfast burrito and it was gargantuan! We all loved our food and the cozy front booth we were seated in by the window was perfect. We will definitely make this a regular stop while in Lake Arrowhead!“
“super duper place, visiting lake arrowhead and happened to stop by. the fries are crispy and much more tasty than in n out or shake shack. i got the Philly cheesesteak which was also really good and per the seven year old's review, the burger is better than the habit grill.“
“Walked in for the first time. I'm coming from the Pasadena area but was very impressed how clean and upkept the bar is (inside and out). Beers and liquor priced just right. Saw the kitchen open but didn't try any food. Next time for sure. The bartender was sweet and welcoming. Tall beers are a must, followed by a shot. Love the pool tables and dart board on hand. Locals are super nice and chatty. Will be sure to stop by again.“
“This Juan Pollo is a great option when I'm in the mood for chicken. The cashier was very attentive and cared to explain their specials. The service was very prompt. I recommend the chicken, potato salad, rice, and mild salsa. They also have corn tortillas available.“
“It's a charming, mountain lodge-like setting, surrounded by trees, fireplaces lit. The lobby fills with guests, awaiting the 6:30 pm start time. On cue and en masse, servers enter the lobby and escort large parties of guests into the dining room, with great efficiency (key word). The large groups appear to be students from graduate school programs; others may be large family gatherings. The menu is largely prix fixe, the only choice being the entree: beef or chicken, and the servers are cheery and, yes, efficient. Large trays of food pour forth form the kitchen. It's clearly pre-prepared: the soup is luke warm at best, the salad is pre-dressed; both still taste "OK". The entree is the weak spot: the beef is pretty dry and flavorless, saved only by the sides of veggies and mashed potatoes (the chicken is reportedly "fine"). No options for wine or beer with the meal. The dessert is some bland pudding. With the efficient serving, the entire meal takes 30 minutes; we could have stayed longer, but the large parties of students were a bit too lively for our tastes. No tipping allowed, which is a shame, since the service was cheery and so... efficient.“
“I came up here for my honey moon for 6 days and went to every breakfast place we could, we had this place our last day and it was the best and cheap, my wife got the cabin burger and it was big, juicy, and everything on it paired well together, I got the country fried steak and the crust was perfect snd steak was tender, the coffe was pretty good.“
“Went along for a relatively early dinner- the staff were excellent and friendly from start to finish. We had multiple people look after the table, without ever being intrusive. They were chatty, without being overbearing, and their recommendations were much appreciated. The food was great, simple but effective fare. Went for short rib at the waiters reco, and got a steak as, Why not?! Great experience, will return“
“Wonderful food, awesome service, and fantastic prices.Right down the street from Victorias were I received the worst experience of my life.I'm pretty sure Victorias has a deal with the local hotels to recommend them, and probably paid reviews. Don't buy it! Go to Deep Creek instead.I had the country fried steak and my wife had the Chilaquilles.Fed all 9 of our family members for a hundred bucks.Perfect for breakfast, enjoy!Parking: Right in front, about 10 spaces..Kid-friendliness: Such nice people, great kids menu, large portions.“
“I think this place deserves five star first of all once I ordered my food it came really fast. I love how they did it so fast because I was starving! And I love how the food was so good the burger was great and I love how it Was so nice.- B.C., 9 yo“
“We love this little spot! Go at least once a month. The owner is so nice and the food is good quality. Great prices. Good pizza. Try the fried rice! It’s sooo goodThey also do free delivery. Nice peopleKid-friendliness: Love that there is not an exit door near the game room.Good for safety of kids running out“
“We were greeted immediately and seated. Very friendly folks. The food came out very quickly after ordering. Surprisingly fast. Everything looked and tasted great. Good attention to detail on the preparation and presentation of everything. We all had breakfast but we'll definitely try lunch next time we're up here.“
“First off amazing food! I was so surprised at how great the food was. It was truly comfort food to enjoy while in the mountains. What could be better! The restaurant is cozy so I took the food back to the cabin. Portion was huge and the taste is great…I’ll get food from here anytime I’m in “
