This is the Cerritos outlet of Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ. The cuts of meat are of good quality but the price is higher than other decent Asian BBQ joints with similar quality cuts. Also the service is rather less attentive and you have to wave for service. They do offer some Japanese side dishes such as tacoyaki and karaage. It is a decent place to enjoy good cuts of meat on your own grill.

First of all, big shout out to Michael and his crew, service is definitely top tier!l I use to be a big KBBQ and would always go to Gxns down the stree...never again. This will always be my go to spot. Showed up last minute for my daughters bday and they still took really good care of us. Tucked away in the corner of the strip mall. I've come here a handful of times, and every single time has been a great experience. While this place is pricier than Gen, they offer more in terms of sides and quality of meat. I've tried the different price points and can say that no matter which one you pick, you won't be disappointed. Remember to save room for ice cream or s'mores at the end.
