“My husband and I stayed at the Long Beach Hyatt Regency hotel for a work convention this weekend. We were looking for nearby eats to enjoy eating by the pier and pleasantly found Tugboat Pete’s! I couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re looking for a quick bite while walking around the area— kind service, affordable and high quality warm flavorful food! We got the Chicago style jumbo hot dog and frito pie and it definitely filled us. There’s tables facing the water so it was also very nice to just enjoy the seaside weather while we ate. There dogs are all beef,there relish is house.
I have to say there ordinary mustard relish dog is pretty damn good for the price pont.
And if you really want something extra try one of there bacon wrapped dogs.you won't be disappointed.“

“We tried Korean corn dogs for the first time and it was a nice treat. We did take out and Myungrang provided all the condiments, so we could douse the dogs just as if we were eating at the restaurant. We don't live far, so the dogs were still crunchy when we got home.

We tried it once and probably won't return, because the boy, my little corn dog lover, surprisingly said the dogs are too greasy. He did like the cheese dogs over the sausage dogs. I guess greasy is to be expected with deep fried corn dogs.

The squid ink sounded interesting, because I throw squid ink away when preparing squid. It's dark. What's it like in corn dogs? Well, my suspicion is right. I didn't taste any flavor difference. It just made the batter inky black.

Google maps told us to go all around the back of the shopping mall, but no big deal. We arrived and found parking. It's a popular shopping center, so lucky we got a spot.“

I really wish the fries were included on the side. Also, the service is almost non-existent. When you walk in, its hit or miss if an employee is at the counter to take your order. Instructions should be more clear for a first timer who's navigating the self-service option.“

“This fast service restaurant has the best fries in Knott's--crinkle cut and fresh! Right now they are serving Hot Dogs and they have several types to choose from. We have liked all of them so far. This summer they are also having a weekly special, which is always good to have something new to try at each visit to Knotts!

Vegetarian options: The hotdogs are vegan. They are overpriced. In a pinch though they work. The one on imperial and Harbor charges almost $5 for one hotdog with no sides.“
