I'll start by saying that we all know Olive Garden doesn't make their pasta fresh daily or the breadsticks, etc...and you could argue its not Italian food, but when it comes to hearty comfort food, it always hits the spot. For the most part of my dining experiences I tend to stray away from chain restaurants instead opting for smaller mom and type spots. However for dinner tonight my wife was craving Olive Garden. I think for a lot of people the Olive Garden represents something familiar and there for comforting. Everyone knows about the endless bread sticks and soups.
