Some of the worse Greek food I’ve ever had. Beef souvlaki should be pieced off beef on a skewer, not some reconstituted meat that’s as far from beef as you can get. Horrible experience.

Best tasting fish. Great hot sauce and solid falafel. I live in the East San Francisco Bay and I'm craving it right now.

Excellent food and service! Needs some interior design but that really didn’t matter because of the food and service. I will definitely be back!

Even a cowboy’s gotta stray from the coast now and then, and when I did, I ended up at Ali Baba in Chico, where the gyro plate made me feel like I’d stumbled into a Mediterranean chuckwagon dream.
That lamb and beef? Thin-sliced, perfectly seasoned, with just enough crispy on the edge to make every bite count. Laid over a bed of fluffy golden rice, it was practically begging for that cool, creamy tzatziki and trust me, they didn’t hold back. The hummus was rich and smooth, and the fresh chopped salad balanced out the plate like a well-packed saddlebag.
But what really sealed the deal? The stellar service fast, friendly, and full of good vibes. They treat you like a regular even if it’s your first time. And at just $13.99, this kind of quality and portion size feels like robbery… the good kind.
So if you’re wandering inland and your boots need a break, make your way to Ali Baba. Take it from the unofficial Cowboy Duke of Almost Everything on the Mendo Coast this place is the real deal.

The worst food, the place is dirty, I ordered a gyro wrap and had a stomach ache all day, my husband ordered a kebab combo and his stomach hurt just as bad, I do not recommend it.

Ali Baba is my go-to for a quick, healthy, and flavorful lunch. They're just off campus and the food is prepared to order.

Ali Baba is delicious! Everything we have ordered has always been excellent! The rice has great flavor and is cooked to perfection; and the gyro and chicken are tender and delicious. I recommend getting extra garlic sauce - you won’t regret it!
