I absolutely love this place!!! the ladies that work here are so kind, upbeat, and welcoming. I always get their Red Bull drinks which are so tasty. chocolate croissant was also delicious as well. highly recommend this cute little coffee spot!

Best 20oz Americano. They also have great breakfast burritos that have unfortunately become smaller and more expensive since Covid but that is not Mr & Mrs Cal Javas doing. They are just having to keep up with all the dollars in circulation, bringing down the value of the US$. Maybe if we quit printing money like the Joker runs the Federal Reserve I can get my veggie burrito huge again. Thank you Cal Java for employing nice people and for keeping it excellent even though your rent must be going up and the Joker is in charge of the money supply.Vegetarian options: I get the vegetarian breakfast burrito and it is almost always the best breakfast burrito in town.

We found this on Yelp driving from Placerville to Ashland. Friendly gals, fast service, close to the freeway. The black and white mocha was pretty tasty.

Despite making my drink wrong, it was honestly better than half the coffee spots here in Chico. Of course with my drink being made with the wrong milk I didn't quite like it, but I could still tell it was good. If different. I'll come again sometime, hope to bump my review up to a five.

If you want to get a fast coffee or tea this is the place to go! Cal java has great espresso drinks and so many different chia tea options to choose from. They have a good variety of kid drinks to choose from as well which is a huge bonus for parents. The ladies that work there as super nice and so good at making quality drinks quickly. I definitely recommend trying them if you haven't already.
