Dine in with edamame, miso, taco Tuesday (crab), tempura, and two sushi rolls (forgot the name.) All awesome. Service wasn't extremely fast, but that is the cost of a busy business. They were attentive though and deserved their tip.. :-) Will be returning with other family. Also they were attentive to the fact that I have a broken leg and am on crutches with having to have my leg up and supported (bench seat) and found me suitable seating even though it was busy. Greatly appreciated.
We stopped in for a meal that was fantastic. To start off, we both ordered Sake and Sapporo. The Large hot sake was perfect. They even offered an extra large which is 48 ounces. Since it was lunch, stuck with a large and ordered our meal. Started with the miso soup and salad. We ordered the 8 piece chef selection sampler, a roll and unagi. The roll was top notch. We went here for a special occasion, and the restaurant didn't dissapoint. The sushi is high quality and (unlike a lot of other restaurants) they use short-grain sushi rice to give it the proper texture. The staff were very friendly and helpful. To my delight, this seems to be the only Japanese restaurant in town that has genuine buckwheat-only soba noodles, which tasted great and let me enjoy noodle soup despite having a gluten allergy.
