Hole in the wall use to be more of a hole. Great place for locals has a good group of regulars. Bartenders have been around awhile so you will have a adult that understands your out dated dark humor.
The only reason we got service was through a waitress off duty. No one acknowledged us until we went up to the bar. There was maybe 40 ppl in the whole place...not impressed as a first time customer.

Joes bar is one of my favorite places in Chico. Not only is it a fun spot to get drinks with friends but the staff is amazing and always personable. One bartender in particular, Lauren, always has a smile on her face and is very welcoming to everybody. She makes my experience fun each time, Joes is lucky to have her.
