I lived in Greece and ended up Marrying a Greek for 9 years so I know what mediterranean food is all about. When we got there I was literally starving. Looked at the menu And knew exactly what we wanted. The host met us at the door and was unbelievably kind. I could tell from the get-go this was going to be a good experience. We ordered the Greek salad and Gerro plate and everything was so delicious. I probably ate too much bread but that’s all right. The salad was huge, best feta I have had in a long time. The food was to die for but too much for us to eat. So took a doggie bag home. Was enough left over for the next day dinner. It was delicious, the ambience was awesome, and the service was superlative. Just a word of warning and not complaining this meal for two mind you and a salad was 72 dollars. Left 20 dollar tip so this special night cost close to 100 dollars and again not complaining worth every penny. Now there is two places downtown I love eating at. The other Burger Bun. Thank for the unbelievable dinner on a very special occasion (2 Yr anniversary) I will definitely come back five star restaurant

This was the most refreshing and delicious experience. We dine out a lot in the Chico area and this was amazing!! The food was wonderful, price point was great and the service was impeccable! The owner was engaged and a genuinely nice person. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone! We will for sure be back and said it’s our new favorite spot hands down!

I wanted to give this Eatery a 5 star review. I am lactose intolerant. I ordered the falafel plate with a side of soup. I asked the server if there was any dairy in the dish. He said he would omit it for me. He asked me if I was fully vegan, and I told him YES. I assumed he understood. The falafels were perfect! However, there were vegetables included on the plate, I ate them thinking there was no dairy, even though I tasted a hint of buttery flavor, I thought was probably margarine since he said he would omit the dairy.But sadly, no...an hour later I had the worst stomach pains and indigestion. I suffered from stomach pains and cramps all night and was not able to fall asleep until 2am. This morning I am still having issues. I won't be returning to this restaurant. Even though their falafels are very good quality. I just can't trust that they won't serve me dairy and lie to me about it. Which is a shame.Dietary restrictions: I asked for NO DAIRY and was fed dairy anyway.

What an amazing place! From fresh fantastic food to amazing service... I was taken away. This food here is the chicken kabob and a lamb gyro. It is so light and fresh. Must try Turkish coffee and Turkish delight is a must.

Not 5 star only because of the prices, no soup salad or sides with meal. The owner owns a few restaurants in San Francisco and while that's not a bad thing the vibe represents that. Server was above and beyond, food was great, overall would recommend for a splurge meal or a date/anniversary. We were also gifted a free dessert which was really well made!

Absolutely fantastic! To start off, our waiter and the other staff showed us wonderful service, pulled out chairs, always refilled drinks before they were empty, and checked in with entertaining small talk! He had great recommendations and helped make every part of dinner go by smoothly and delightfully.I had the Meze Moon Lamb Shank. Oh! My! Gosh!!!! I moved the bone and the meat literally fell apart because it was so tender and juicy!! It absolutely melted in my mouth with an incredible decadence ??! It additionally paired very nicely with the Doogh (mint flavor) that I ordered. I often find the vegetables and rice served at restaurants to be an afterthought but it combined really well with the rest of the dish, I definitely recommend this dish! Their house bread and herb butter was very well done as well, it had a great blend of herbs and the bread was soft and warm!My partner had the Steak Mediterranean and he really enjoyed it as well, I had a bite and the mushrooms were done really nicely!At the end of the night we had a sampler platter of the various desserts and each was better than the last, personally my favorites were the Kazandibi (the texture was consistent, well done, and had a nice subtle sweetness that was accompanied by a sweet and light sauce and pistachios) and the pomegranate Turkish Delight (The texture was firm but not unyielding and the floral flavor was everything I wanted from a post meat dessert).As a side note something I really appreciated was that after we paid the waitstaff did not ignore us. They continued to be kind and make sure we had a good experience, even holding open the door for us on our way out :)The restaurant was clean and well maintained, as were the bathrooms.11/10, first thing I did when I got in the car was call my mom and tell her she had to go, so if you are thinking about going, go!!
