Great place, but they're never open first thing in the morning when they say they'll be open. And that's when I want them haha.

I want to start by saying Tres leches cake is my favorite cake, I love it more than any other.
That being said we have ordered tres leches cake twice from Nena's and both times we cut to the cake to see a dry regular cake.
Neither time that we asked for tres leches did we receive tres leches.
If we wanted a regular no leches cake than we would have order that.
We had a graduation party of 30+ people and we told them all that we got tres leches and they were all excited until they cut the cake.
Very disappointing to happen twice in a row, and I will be very reluctant to buy another cake from this business.

They're currently (as of 4.21.24) not selling "meal foods" just their bakery type of items. This was a suprise because I did go specifically for their food options. The food sounded great, wish I could've tried it. They weren't sure when they would start selling those food items again, as they had personal family business going on currently. The shop is small with self serve pastry windows. The staff was very nice as well. No interior eating, just take to go.Ended up getting a cannoli instead. First cannoli I've had so nothing to compare it too. Tasted interesting. Not as crispy of an outside as I anticipated, but also unsure if that's normal or not. Not sure what the filling was, but it tasted alright. Probably wouldn't get it again though.Would go back once they're selling the food items again to try it out, otherwise great variety of pastry options.

Parking: Good to note, there is plenty of parking, however it's pretty much directly by the street, so be aware of that.

Went there at 9:15 in the morning purchased for cookies $7.50 Way overpriced. I ate one of them tasted good. The man that helped me was friendly no fresh bread and very few items to choose from. Most likely will not go back.

Okay they have new hours. Way more pastries than the carnaceria on Park. Not a big place. Order ahead if you are buying for a group.
