I've been to rice bowl many times throughout the last decade in chico and I'm happy to say it's finally on its way back up. They always have good enough food, the last few years it seemed like it had kind of gone down hill because it wasn't as clean and the staff seemed unhappy but we always came back for the food. I've been here more than a handful of times over the years and I've never had a bad experience, either with take out or dine-in. The food has always been consistently delicious, distinct in flavor and never undercooked or overcooked. The service is always friendly and timely, and the atmosphere feels so homey yet classy.
I would love to always make this restaurant my option for Chinese and Japanese cuisine.
