We had dinner at Sofi’z for the first time tonight. What a great place! The service and atmosphere were great! Felt like we weren’t in Chico. The appetizers and entrees were all delicious. We went with friends and ordered several dishes off the menu and they were all delicious. The lamb kebabs and butter chicken were my favorite! Can’t wait to go back!

We had lunch and ordered a pretty vast array of food which was all great. Biggest samosas i've ever seen and the mint sauce was delicious. Great food, comfortable seats and cool unique decor. The owner was so nice. Really great place. Will definitely be back soon

On the way to our trip to Los Angeles, I insisted my dad take us to a Pakistani resteraunt for a lamb dish. It was really a long detour. We arrived around the closing time. The owner came from the kitchen and knowing that we are traveling, generously seated us. A nicely decorated resteraunt that will take you back to the 20's with colorful velvet chairs and floral walls. We had a brief conversation about the beautiful decor. When the food came in, it was another surprise. The lamb shank was delicious and the briyani had plenty of lamb that will melt in your mouth. The dessert will make you eat until the last peice. What a wonderful resteraunt in town of Chico. This hidden gem should be a destination for all travelers visiting California.

I ordered 5 dishes. I cannot recommend the food here, except for the rice, none were tasty.

I came for the food and stayed for the pastries - almost as special as the vibe itself. Wonderful atmosphere. Would highly recommend the tea party and baklava as a special treat

We went here for lunch. The food was delicious, the stand out being the lamb chops we ordered, but be patient, it takes awhile for them to arrive. All the sauces and extras were also delicious. The mango lassi’s are served bright yellow and leave a stain on your tongue and lips. Sofi served us and was so fun and knowledgeable in sharing her cuisine with the guests. We were seated in a window box which was also a treat, cozy and romantic. I thought I had walked into a restaurant on valentine’s day, copious amounts of bling and fake greenery to offset the bright and pastel pinks. We weren’t expecting to have a 2 hour lunch nor spend over $100 for the three of us, but we left full and satisfied.

We discovered Sofi'z kitchen last night while in Chico. I had never had Pakistan food before & let me tell you...Sofi'z did not disappoint!
We had the Samosas with mint sauce & plum sauce. It was so good! I'm sensitive to spicy food but I was still able to eat this with no problem. We also had the Kofta Curry with rice. So flavorful. Staff is friendly. Servjce was great. The ambiance in the restaurant is a whole vibe...the ladies will love it & Sofi (the owner) is such a delight to chat with. I am definitely coming back next time in Chico.

I will forever be thankful for this place to host our big party with all the multiple options and lassi. It was tasty and Sofi is always the best restaurant hostess I know.

What an amazing restaurant! We have heard about how wonderful this restaurant is and we decided to finally go. My husband and I went for our 21st wedding anniversary in August. We walked in and were warmly greeted by Sofi herself! The food was amazing. I have never had Pakistan cuisine. The Samosa were different than the Indian Samosa. I am used to, but in the best way. The outside was crispy and the inside was filled with delicious potatoes and peas. The jasmine rice was so fragrant and so flavorful. The portions were decent size and we even had enough to take home. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to be surrounded by a beautiful ambience and wonderful service and of course delicious food. It is a very unique and niche restaurant in downtown Chico.
