Most employees seem to be working hard and fast, yet they seem to be super behind on orders. Understaffed for sure. I haven’t tried the food yet but I’ve been waiting for 25 minutes and they just told me they’re about to start my order. ( not to mention I order ahead online!)

Shoutout to East Ave Taco Bell. The staff was super kind even with how busy it gets. & also a special shoutout to the woman at the second window in the purple sweater ( maybe manager) She was really sweet, and you could tell she supports her team the same way.
Food was perfect, and honestly the whole crew deserves props from management. They’re doing an amazing job.

Okay, I used to really like this taco bell. It was second favorite here in chico but recently it has really sucked. Today I ordered an in store pickup because I had a 99c value cravings menu item on the app that I could not order inside or in drive-thru. I got the beefy loaded nachos, no beef add potatoes, no beans add black beans and extra nacho cheese. It had literally like nothing in it, maybe half a scoop of black beans, subpar amount of nacho cheese (barely as much as regular), and potatoes (it was more than anything else so it looked like something compared to the rest of nothing I had). I don’t know why it took so long for a really crappy creation of nachos, if you’re gonna take a while to get the food out, make sure it’s made well. Quality over quantity guys. Just a little upset :(

UPDATE: Self-serve hot sauce packets are GONE PERMANENTLY! To save an extra buck, they sacrificed the dine-in experience, which used to be a decent place to spend a few hours doing work. Now you have to wait to ask an already-busy employee just to grab you a couple of sauce packets. Whoever's in charge of this just made things harder for everyone. I liked coming here for the rewards program, but I'll just go somewhere else. Despite having a nice area that could be used for outdoor dining, it's been empty for years. You need to spend money to make money.
Also the guacamole isn't vegan. No good reason.
Not my first choice, but there's a decent vegan selection, the tacos are good, and the cinnamon twists are nice. Pretty basic fast food place, not too messy inside but I'd definitely take a closer look when choosing a table if dining in in case anything suspicious is on the surface from previous customers. I like the new ordering kiosks inside, it's easier to order and look through all the options, you can check out all the add ons, like adding jalapeños or rice to your taco, you can see the ingredients as well, and there's less human interaction.

Always forgetting items in our order and the most recent time they did this refused to give us missing items because they didn't give us a receipt in the drive-thru either
What is wrong with this place? The dining room is always thrashed, the food takes longer than a sit-down restaurant, DoorDash drivers everywhere complaining to the staff that they get confirmation that their order is ready but it haven’t even started.

My boyfriend broke up with me over text while I was in the Taco Bell drive thru back in 2019, and I was sobbing at the window so the guy gave me a free freeze. So I got dumped but I also got a delicious frozen treat. You win some, you lose some. Five stars.
