This place is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Chico the food they make here is absolutely delicious.id recommended this place to anyone for whatever kind of Mexican food your craving..the breakfast burritos are top notch 10/10 the best in town by far
My wife had a late craving and we decided to try this place since they are open late. Glad to have discovered it. Chico has so much good food that many good food places can easily be missed. Everything we had was good, but the Carnitas Chimichanga was hands down the best I've had from any truck or restaurant in a long while. I'll be going back just for that, for sure.

My first time at Tacos Tonaya was many years ago when I was a freshman at Chico State. I remember going with my roommate and new friends and we ordered food to go and I remember the first thing I ever ordered were nachos (super yummy!).
The following years, during my time as an undergrad, I continued to order Tacos Tonaya. I went so often that I became a regular and formed a friendship with the owners, specially the mom.
