And I ALWAYS get the same thing... wait for it... PROTEIN POWER BOWL! (With extra almond butter scoop) (worth the extra $1) Although I usually treat myself after a new weekly hike... Nekter has become a RITUAL of mine to rejuvenate and treat myself to get ready to KICKASS and conquer my week. While I could’ve left this review on any other nekter location I’ve ever been to — THIS LOCATION IS MY FAVORITE! Always top notch service and generous servings! This was also where I lost my nekter virginity, downloaded the app for the first time, and never looked back. AHHH, so so so SOOOO friking God. “The woman who helped me(nishelle was the name on the receipt) was absolutely fantastic! Great service, great energy, she was so kind. She helped me with samples and she overloaded me on all the info for a cleanse. I got a bowl that was pretty good, was able to get TWO flavors. “I always order on their app, it’s super fast ! I love that all I have to do is give my name! The açaí bowls are consistent and tasty. It’s a little pricey (as healthy food is) but I think it’s worth it. Getting the largest bowl to share is the way to go! :) definitely recommend“

“Absolutely loved our visit to Ivy Juice Bar in La Verne. They serve açaí bowls, smoothies/shakes, fresh juices, and even some small bites. Everything is made with real ingredients you can actually taste; no artificial flavors or overly sweet syrups — just clean, honest, and tasty blends. The ambiance is also great. Inside is cool, clean, and inviting. Whether you’re dropping in after a workout, meeting a friend, or just looking for a place to chill for a bit, you won't be disappointed in stopping here.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly welcome, which set the tone for the entire experience. The staff here truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They are super kind and helpful with recommendations. You can tell they really care about the quality of what they’re serving. They even had a poster in front asking what you were grateful for and left markers for customers to write their answers. It's the little things like this that set small businesses apart.

We tried the Machata, Owner's Bowl, and one more drink, but we forgot the name of it (it had spinach). All were fantastic!

The Machata (matcha meets horchata) was amazing - creamy, refreshing, with the perfect balance of earthy matcha, cinnamon, and light sweetness. This one really hit the spot. If you're a fan of matcha or looking to try something different, don’t skip this!

The Owner's Bowl (açaí and coconut base, granola, oats, peanut butter, strawberry, blueberry, banana, coconut and agave). Wow — just wow! It was visually stunning and absolutely loaded with fresh, vibrant ingredients - from the fruit to the granola on top. It was the kind of bowl that makes you feel good about what you're eating, but also totally satisfies your cravings.

I had been meaning to come in for some time and support them because I had been following their Instagram page since I had been to their other location and I have seen them go through a couple of break-ins and other setbacks at this new location, including recent construction in the parking lot that affected foot traffic and, of course, business. Because the staff is made up of a lot of young adults who depend on this income, the owner got on social media and requested for customers to come in and showed the route you could take from the street, through the construction, to easily find their front door - so she wouldn't have to cut hours for her staff. This owner REALLY cares about her employees.

Overall, this place is a gem. It’s the kind of small business you genuinely want to support — great people, excellent products, and a real sense of community. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. If I could afford it I would probably go here every day. So yeah, I HIGHLY recommend.“

What I love most is that you can sample the different bases before deciding — a thoughtful touch for anyone navigating food sensitivities. I created my own açaí bowl with a blend of açaí, ube, coconut, and chia porridge, then topped it with banana, strawberry, blueberry, unsweetened coconut, and a light almond-butter drizzle. It was the perfect balance of sweet and hearty.

I skipped the granola this time to keep things gentle on my stomach, and I’m glad I did — the texture and freshness of the fruit stood out beautifully. The portion sizes are generous (small, medium, and large available), and the medium was plenty for a full breakfast.

The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, guiding me through combinations and sharing tips for balancing flavors. I’ll definitely be back to try new mixes — this was a wonderful, refreshing breakfast bowl that hit all the right notes for both flavor and digestive comfort.“

Every item on the menu is crafted with care fresh, flavorful, and full of goodness. The employees are kind and welcoming, and the service is simple and efficient.

One of the details that touches me most is the Bible verse displayed a beautiful reminder of faith and gratitude that makes me want to support this business even more. I can easily see this place thriving in Florida in Jupiter, Tequesta, or Stuart all near Palm Beach. Trust me, we need something like this there!
