“Do you miss Soup Plantation as much as I do!?! If so, you have to check this place out. Lots of the good stuff similar to SP, but even more soup choices and the bread is amazing!! When I got there I was surprised there wasn’t much of a line, but by the time we left the line stretched out the door. Such an amazing value for great food.“

“This Buffet has been here a while but they have improved over time. It's always busy cuz it's the best. Had my Christmas party here yesterday. Had all my people in for dinner and everything was absolutely fresh and tasty. I didn't even realize there was a chocolate fountain and an ice cream tubs in this section going towards the bathrooms. I almost overlooked it. Glad I saw it in time. I had 10 people for my Christmas party. And everybody enjoyed themselves so much We have the greatest time and our party started at 6:30 and next thing you know it was two and a half hours later and we were leaving Happy and had a wonderful time the servers were so helpful. If there's anything at all you're missing the staff gets it for you right away. And the buffet has all kinds of Chinese food there was a roast seafood crab legs and sushi. Now talk about bon appetit oh my goodness we had a great time. I definitely will use this place for future parties. Have a wonderful holiday and bless you“

“I was very impressed with my first trip to Golden Corral in Pomona California. I’m a gig driver and I found myself in San Dimas around 2 PM. By the time I finished driving in that area it was close to 3 and I was tired of fast food so I did a Google search for all you can eat restaurants in the area and Golden Corral popped up first.

Overall the food was good. I think they need to stay away from creating Chinese dishes because they’re just a total fail. Their chow mein basically tasted like sugar noodles. But their clam chowder was absolutely delicious (except for the soggy celery in it) as was their salad bar (they also have a fruit bar but I got too full to even sample one piece, maybe next time). The french fry planks and potato wedges were totally to die for! I’m a huge potato fan. I seriously thought I had room for more but I got so full that I had to unbutton my pants when I got back in the car! 🫣🤣

When I got there they were running their senior pricing and since I am a senior my dinner, including tax, was pennies over $16. I don’t think you could beat that! If I had stopped at Del Taco and just gotten two large fries it would’ve been half that price.

The only sad part is that I live in the San Fernando Valley and the nearest one is over 21 miles away from me. 😔 Come on Golden Corral, build a location in the San Fernando Valley because you would make a killing!!

PS: sadly I didn’t get her name but my server was very personable and attentive. I tipped her before I even finished my meal because I could see how much work she was doing in the entire restaurant. She was a very sweet young Hispanic woman that wore her hair pulled back in a soft bun. If you’re lucky enough to have her when you go there, I know you’ll see how hard a worker she is and please remember to tip her. ❤“

“I Love their Food! The food was fresh and you can eat plenty!! They also have someone who can cook to your liking. They had soups, salads, fish, crab, shrimp ?. Even deserts! It is definitely a family restaurant. Their were families with their babies, toddlers and children. Everyone seemed to have fun, and it was delicious!! I will definitely go their again. They also give a senior discount! And the price is not much.
