Kalaveras is a restaurant that offers a pleasant ambiance and excellent food. The menu includes Mole enchiladas, with moist and well-seasoned shredded chicken, melted cheese, and a delicious mole sauce. The Queso birria tacos are a must-try, with tender and perfectly marinated birria, avocado, onions, cilantro, pickled onion, and a flavorful broth. The rice and beans are cooked just right, and the tortillas are not greasy. The flight margaritas are a delightful choice for a date night.
The staff is friendly and attentive, although the service can sometimes be slow. However, the food and drink quality make up for it. The restaurant is an excellent choice for Mexican food lovers and is highly recommended.
The restaurant is under new management and will no longer be Kalaveras branded, but the Taco Tuesday and Sunday brunch specials will remain. The decor has changed, but the comfortable atmosphere and inviting music remain the same. The staff, including Jonathan, Stacy, and Jennifer, provide excellent service. The restaurant is a great place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo or any other occasion.
