“Pretty good experience! The lamb chops were super flavorful and grilled to perfection. The food took a bit longer as I’ve come to expect at Mediterranean spots.

The lamb chops had two sizes and I ordered the larger one and apparently the cashier entered the order incorrectly for the regular size. He let me know after they started cooking and I said I was fine with the regular size combo and didn’t want to go through the hassle of refunding and paying again. It was no biggie. I could probably do better by eating less from time to time.

After the food came out, it seemed like they gave me the large size after all. It wasn’t necessary, but it was a nice gesture. The beets salad, baba ghanoush were great additions to the lamb chops. The rice and pita were a bit lacking and left much to be desired, but the garlic sauce helped. The pita was much thicker than other places and was a bit dry. The rice didn’t have any flavor compared to other Mediterranean spots. I had to mix all the garlic sauce into the rice to give it an upgrade. The beef shawarma was very flavorful and well cooked.

We’ll be back to this place to give it another go.“

“I recently decided to visit The Diplomat in La Verne after being recognized by the Bonita Unified School District for my service to the schools and community. What a great choice! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the combo plate with filet, chicken, and ground beef—it was more than enough for the both of us. The filet was juicy and sooo good! Excellent service and a fantastic experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!“

I love the food I love the service, the place is very clean. The service is topnotch. They are very helpful in teaching you what the food is about also the portions are very generous. They was a mixed falafel sandwich that I had was about a foot-long and had many layers of flavor that is unmatched with any other falafel sandwich I've ever had. I also ordered the chicken Shawarma plate and needless to say is just as delicious as the falafel sandwich every time I go there I make sure to try something new. I have not been steered wrong or regretted any new adventure on their menu. There is a wide variety of foods if you're very picky there is something there for you to eat if you're vegan or vegetarian there is a lot of options for you. I recommend this place. “We ordered the spicy hummus, garlic fries, beef shawarma, babakenush?, and cauliflower. My friend saw the baclava and had to try it. So we started with desser. The pistachio was very crispy and chewy and was my friends favorite. The walnut was sweet and chewy which was my favorite. Everything was absolutely delicious! The spicy hummus had a little kick at the beginning but as we ate we didn't taste the kick anymore. The cauliflower is lightly fried and so freaking delicious! I ate it by itself or with some hummus. My friend ate it with the babakanush and some cauliflower sauce and was in love. I tried her babakanush. I don't like eggplant but this was really delicious! Had a lovely garlic flavor that was slightly addicting. The garlic fries was just fries sprinkled with garlic powder but dipped it in the hummus and it was good. The pitas were really good too. I could've eaten more if I wasn't so full. But the beef shawarma was freaking AMAZING!!!!! We both said this was the best Mediterranean food we've ever had. I said no tomatoes to my beef shawarma which I'm glad I did. The flavor was absolutely amazing without it. Definitely 10/10 no complaints at all. And service was awesome too! So kind, friendly, and funny. I can't wait to come back again!“

“You can stop right here folks; this is the best food of this type in the area and I've tried them all. I ordered the Queeni Special which includes Shrimp, Beef, and Chicken. The Shrimp was perfectly cooked and not over-done. The Beef and Chicken were also perfectly cooked. The Beef was especially tender. The hummus was outstanding. “I have been here twice now. Both times, I have had the lamb/beed gyro with no tomatoes or fries inside (pronounced yee-row informally) twice and their house salad. On my first visit, I got a fountain drink, which was not cold (I don't like ice in my drinks). They did, however, sell bottles of Loux that were very cold. I favor the orange juice flavored one. I did knock off a star because after my first visit, I got automatically signed up for marketing emails for the business when I paid with a card.
