First time here with a friend that recommend me to try their fish n chips. Pretty good! They use sea bass fish and a very light breading so basically it melts in your mouth with a crunch. Dip it in that tater sauce, so good and light! Tons of fries with it as well. I also got me a watermelon drink. They use real fruit for their drinks. Very refreshing! Will be back to try other menu items. They have new menu items with tons of options including their rotisserie chicken. Friendly staff. Definitely a hidden gem and small business owned. Check it out!

Reading about it they make it sound like a nice place to go. It's Nothing but a cheap dirty looking café with No class at all. Definitely Not worth the drive or time.

The manager is friendly and accommodating. The drink I got was very refreshing. Will spread the word.

Been going to this place for years and love it. I usually get a chicken burrito which is one of the best in town. Its a family owned place with great customer service too. Highly recommend

This place is alsome great vibe friendly people and great food. I’m from North Carolina and this is the best rotisserie chicken I have ever had in any place that I’ve ever ate y’all guys have to come and try!!!!

This was my second time visiting San Juan Pollo after being recommended by a loved one. My first visit was great—the chicken was delicious, and the staff member at the counter was courteous and polite. That positive experience is what brought me back for a return visit. Unfortunately, this second time was extremely disappointing.

I dealt with the same person as before and placed a very simple order: a whole chicken, cut in half and packed in two separate boxes, along with a small side of potato salad. I made sure to repeat my request multiple times to avoid confusion.

The menu lists a whole chicken at $15.99 and the side at $2.50—so I was expecting my total to be around $18.50 with tax. However, I was charged $35. When I questioned it, the employee claimed I had ordered a whole chicken and a half, which I had not. After some back-and-forth, he removed the extra half chicken, but the revised total still came to $25.

When I asked why it was still over $20, he casually mentioned it was extra for cutting the chicken and using an additional box—something that was never disclosed up front. Apparently, there's a hidden $5 charge just for splitting the order. This was never communicated until after I brought it up, which feels extremely shady and deceptive.

Whether times are tough or not which he brought up, adding unannounced charges and hoping the customer won’t notice is not ethical business practice. I paid the total (including the $5 hidden fee), but I made it clear that I would not be returning. It’s sad that they’d rather try to sneak in a few extra dollars than retain a loyal customer.

To future customers: double-check your receipt and be very clear about your order. Ask about any “extra” charges up front.

This experience turned what could’ve been a go-to spot into a hard pass. Very disappointed.

Great place for Mexican style rotisserie chicken!

I've came to San Juan Pollo multiple times now and they have not disappoint any day. Food is delicious and the customer service is top tier. Recommend for events as well 👍🏻 👌

My first time going here today and I ordered about $35 worth of food. I don’t know how they forgot my two potato salads when nobody was in the place just me on my first time going there not a great first impression the food is good staff was friendly, but how do you forget When nobody’s in the restaurant just me my first time.
