It's a nice surprise for me who is spoiled with great Asian restaurants from Orange County. This restaurant looks newer and much more clean than an average Vietnamese restaurant. The food selections are decent. The quality of food is not as good as OC restaurant but they cover that with something else. My first experience at Tay Ho in Chino Hills was good. The counter person was friendly and patient while we made our selections.

I tried the Shrimp Fried Rice and a Chicken Banh Min Sandwich. The fried rice was awesome; probably one of the best fried rice dishes out there. Regarding the sandwich, I expected a little more meat in the sandwich, but it was still good. Each item came in a convenient box, which helps when ordering to go.

My partner and I have been repeat customers as we used to live close by. I will miss not living close to a Tay Ho location. I recommend ordering through the app as they offer a lot of various rewards and coupons, and it also makes picking up to go orders simple and quick.
