Little hole in wall looking place has to older mexican ladies who deliver good authentic Mexican food. The portions are big enough for a meal but not excessive. The chicken enchiladas are mexican type not american version but super tasty. They have a pizza burrito they invented that is not healthy but really good. Good low prices with big flavor and taste. Can't judge this book by its cover.
We stopped by after visiting a thrift shop next door. Taco Tuesday was a hit at this little spot! I highly recommend if you’re passing through Chowchilla! Pastor and Chili Verde and don’t forget Jarritos!🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

I am so impressed with Chowchilla Taco Shop. After moving back to town, I finally tried it and it’s hands-down the best Mexican food I've had. The ingredients are perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The value is incredible—huge plates of food for under $12. On top of that, the customer service was quick and genuinely friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic, affordable meal!
