Food was amazing. We was a party of 12 and everyone enjoyed the food. Not 1 person had a complaint.

The food here is nothing less than fantastic! The service is even better specially if Melissa is around. I want to thank her and Jorge for such an amazing service they provided to me and my family. Again thank you guys and we’ll be back to see you and to enjoy our next meal.

Delicious Mexican food ! Excelent service!

Limited menu on weekdays and large bowl looks like a small bowl. Pozole had very little amount of hominey and not much flavor. The flautas cost a lot for only 6 rolls. Conversations tend to be a little too loud to where it's hard to converse with who you are with. Cook plays music loud.

I was disappointed with my experience here. While the staff was polite, the cleanliness was not up to standard—especially the cups, which didn’t seem properly cleaned. It made the visit uncomfortable and took away from the overall experience. I hope the restaurant improves its hygiene, as that’s really important for customers.

I’ve been coming to Birrieria Guadalajara for years, but my recent visit was disappointing. I ordered the menudo, and the portion size has noticeably decreased—what they now call a “large” feels more like a medium. The flavor was very bland, almost like water, and there was barely any meat. It didn’t meet the expectations I’ve had from this place in the past.

I visited Birrieria y Menuderia Guadalajara recently, and while the experience had its highlights, there are a few things to keep in mind before you go.
Parking: This is probably the biggest drawback. Parking is not great and it is always difficult to find a spot. If the small lot is full, you might have to look for public street parking a short walk away.
Atmosphere: The restaurant has a very casual, older feel. It’s a modest, functional spot with orange walls and soccer on the TV. If you’re looking for a modern aesthetic, this isn't it, but it works for a quick, down-to-earth meal.
Food: The food is decent. They are known for their authentic Mexican stews like birria de chivo (goat) and red or white menudo. The handmade tortillas are definitely the standout.
Service: The service is not the best or the greatest. While the staff is generally friendly, it can sometimes take a while for them to welcome you or attend to the table when they are packed.
Bottom Line: It’s a good spot for authentic comfort food like menudo or birria if you don't mind a dated interior and a bit of a hunt for parking.
