Miss the previous vibe and set up of this place. Interior restaurant area noisy with sports bar atmosphere. Outside better. Very noisy, raunchy group of drunks at the bar. Surprised they weren't thrown out! Not usually like that. I've been going there since mid 90's.

Not much variety on the menu. BUGS flying around. Took two hours to order and eat and find a waiter so we could pay

Solid spot…the food and drinks were good, the service was quick, and the band was fun. I didn’t love the bench seating in the patio…the seats were not deep enough. Advice: Make sure you ask for your salad before your meal…I observed two other families get very upset when all of their food showed up at once. Based on that, after ordering I went and tracked down my server to make sure we got our salad first—-which we did, but the food still showed up three minutes later. It felt very rushed.

Excellent fish. Mediocre clam chowder. Fries suck, coleslaw is very bland, service sucks; waited 30 min just to get the bill AFTER he brought the to-go container. Was very disappointed in this place.

Food.... Ugh .. the fish and chips were supposed to be world famous, but they were inconsistent and bland. The mahi fish tacos also lacked any seasoning and the jalapeno margarita was watered down. Best thing we were served was the French fries and the salsa that came with the tacos was by far the best salsa we've had in a while.

The Galley offers a wonderfully relaxed dining experience with view of beautiful Chula Vista harbor. Food was amazing and affordable. We had 'World Famous' Fish & Chips and it was best I ever had! The service was friendly and attentive.

Food was excellent, views were great! Only drawback is the bathroom was dirty and to many fruit flies pestering while we we eating. I will still go back, for the food!!!

On last night of vacation. They took us in(22 in the family) at about 8pm. We got our food quickly. And the food was excellent. It was very much worth the price. And we appreciated them for taking us late and serving us with awsome service. Thank you.

My first time there tonight.

A beautiful setting for a restaurant to have. Plenty of parking. We were offered inside or outside, I suggest outside. Inside has elevated tables and the bar. Patio is lower tables and views.

Our waitress Alexandria arrived in 5 min. (Not bad) and promptly asked to take our food order. It's been a long time since a waitress just bypassed the drink order and started with food. Lol.

Food arrived via food runners and is as seen here. The $32 blackened Salmon was a bit dry and the plate soaked in butter. The $20 burger was not the meat of a $20 burger. It was meat of a $9 burger with a harbor view. The fries were surprisingly good though.
The $18 grilled shrimp were tasty and also butter soaked. Not bad.
I don't think we would have ever seen our waitress again if the food runners didn't remind her we had no silverware for our food plates. After that, not till we requested our check.
It looks like they have live music, comedy and karaoke.
I would try it again because we live nearby but I wouldn't drive a long way to give the second shot. Family of 3, $83.00

Sorry. You lost me. Draft beer is now $10 or $11. Appetizers: $15-20. Entrees: $25-$35. Menu says 18% gratuity for 8 or more: bill comes: 20%. Not to mention that free patio music now can cost $5 or $10 to sit on the patio for basic cover bands. Nah… it’s not worth it.
