I loved everything about this place. The coffee was amazing, the food was so delicious and the service was superb. They didn't have the Cubano sandwich I wanted (wah wah) but the server suggested the ABC toast. I enjoyed it so much I had to take one to go for my daughter to try just so I wouldn't have to try to describe the amazingness of it. I also got the Mexican mocha with oatmilk and it was incredible. So incredible that I was completely disappointed with my coffee at home the next morning. All in all, great drinks, great food, great people, great prices.
This coffee is so smooth, def recommend trying it out.

I've lived in Chula Vista and worked on Third Ave for 2 years. I finally tried it about a month ago and was so impressed!! Everything I tried was great and the coffee is made to perfection! You have to try this place! It's been my new go to every morning!

I am so happy I decided to give this place a try. My go-to drink is their Peanut Butter Cup (I mean, of course). Absolutely delicious! Recently I tried their breakfast sando and a bakey item as well, and WOW. Great portion, great presentation, and fantastic taste. The vibe there is so chill - they had Fairly Oddparents playing on the tv while I enjoyed my coffee and food.. literally my 25 year old Sunday morning dream day, haha. The shop itself is bit small, but only because it's so busy (because it's so good), so if you wanted to sit there and enjoy the goodies it can be a a little challenge, but even the bar area is cool. Great staff is just the cherry on top!

Grindhouse is by far one of my favorite coffeeshops in Chula Vista! This is my go-to for all thinks coffee dates, food, and more importantly to get some work done! The nostalgic oldies (cartoons) they play makes for a super cozy cafe! Abraham and Kianii, Karley are freaking awesome, super friendly and professional. The ONLY big concern I have that would prevent me from coming back is that they don't have AC, and I worry about how hot it gets in the Summer!! I wish they fixed their AC ASAP.
