First time to try this place on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t busy at all, we were seated within a few mins. The ambiance is really nice, clean and well kept. Service is outstanding, younger employees working hard. They would check on us every 5-10mins and changed our grill when needed. The meat is fresh and has great quality. All in all our experience was wonderful. Def will be back!

90% of the servers are on point and alert to your needs. A few of them may get overwhelmed and forget about you. Understandable as it is a very busy place. The protein is delicious because it's cooked to your liking by yourself. The sides are also very good, I really enjoy the corn and cheese. They usually don't hassle you for the time when it's not too busy because we had a large group and we're there longer than expected and they didn't hassle us at all. Give it a shot, you won't regret it. It is a little pricey though. Thank you but I think it's worth it.

Bone in marinated short rib & marinated pork shoulder steak highly recommended 👌, the service is really good, they changed the grill several times to keep the marinated flavors. It is a good variety of tap beers 🍻, with a good family's environment! You can also enjoy Padres games!

Our experience at Hanu was nothing short of amazing! The service was, without a doubt, the best we've ever had at a Korean BBQ restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to make our night special, providing attentive and friendly service that truly stood out.
The food was just as impressive. Our grill was fired up almost instantly, and the selection of meats looked good and portions were large. The sauces were packed with flavor, and the variety of side dishes added a great balance to the meal. The quality-to-price ratio was excellent, making it an incredible value for the experience.
One thing I regret is not trying one of their delicious-looking drinks from the bar—definitely something to look forward to on our next visit!
Having visited numerous KBBQ spots around San Diego County, we can confidently say that Hanu is at the top of our list. This has officially become our new go-to spot for Korean BBQ. Highly recommended!

I gave this place a try 2x. Everytime wss a disappointment. How do you guys train your server? Especially when there are not that much people least you guys can do is pay more attention and instead made us wait 30min before taking our 1st order only when we had to ask twice. Then you guys forgot the soup like we asked for and then brought it out like luke COLD. It was disgusting. Literally the worst KBBQ in san diego.
