This place is such a gem! Huge portions, fresh cucumber salad, and delicious chicken and beef!! The rice is always perfect too! Oh! The pickled carrots and hot sauce are great too! Same savory flavors since I was a kid! It tastes just like the Tijuana location! Love that it’s close by in Chula Vista! 30 years in business and I’ll keep on supporting!!

The service here is always horrible. The lady at the front desk is rude and does not give you what you ask for. She was on her cell phone and ignored me while I was waiting to pick up my order. I had to ring the bell to get her attention. This time the shredded pieces of chicken tasted rancid, and there were dirt/sand granules in the food. I told /the rude lady, but she didn't care. I won't be back at this place.

A nice little gem! I've been coming here for years and I'm glad they're finally open again. I love their beef nomuraki and their pickled jalapeños & onions just make it even better. I've never experienced a long wait as other yelpers have noted. The portions are great and the food is always hot- so I wouldn't mind waiting.

I love their rice and Nimoru chicken. Love the sauce they put in the chicken. The bowl that has chicken and white rice is about $8 dollars which I think is very cheap. They make the food pretty fast. It usually isn't very busy the various times I have been there. The agua de Jamaica and Horchata are also very delicious. Parking is always very easy to find. The only thing I didn't like was that the soda fountain wasn't working.

The prices are good, the food EVEN BETTER! We love the nomuraki. We love the food but when it comes to the service it SUCKS. The lady that is at the front is not so welcoming. Her attitude was rude and I felt uncomfortable while ordering.
